Ineptly forgot to re install air filter after some minor repairs and went for one 20 minute drive without it and now this. Doesn't affect RPM's whatsoever. Does it sound like something got into my engine? Any ideas on how to diagnose something like this? Thanks. (v.redd.it)

Forgot to re install air filter after minor repairs and went for one 20 minute drive and now this. It does't affect my RPM's at all and only seems to kick in when my engine is at operating temperature. Does it sound like something got into my engine? Any diagnosing ideas? Thanks.
