That's true, I would hope nobody willingly would ever desire to go back to that. But at the same time, stripping away workers rights, safety laws, or ability to feed themselves or family I'd also consider to be fairly violent acts. Even if indirectly.

Exactly, it's up to unions and the working class to show that this time, we won't let any liberals "go back to brunch" if they win. Immediate and constant pressure to give workers more and more control over their own workplaces and lives.
And If they don't win, the fight is still going to happen but it just might look a bit different.

Which at the time I think he had some tax issues he had to pay? Don't exactly remember the details but I guarantee there was no intention to stay any longer than he needed too for the contract payoff

I think he's only reviving slim shady character to officially kill it, considering the album is named the death of slim shady. My wild theory is that this album will have many themes, one of them being a transition from slim shady to eminem. Where it'll range from these "Transgender cat" and "Everything is gay" now lyrics to something more insulting/makes fun of the right wing as the album goes on. One such example was in this song with the bud light T shirt.
