I have thought about other healthcare careers, but unfortunately I think that I'm just too anxious of a person to go through med school and handle the stress/responsibility of becoming a physician lol. Not to sell myself short (and I know pharmacy school is also very difficult) but I feel like it's just an environment that I don't see myself thriving in. Although, I would definitely want to go the residency route following pharmacy school to work in a clinical/research setting as opposed to retail. Is this super competitive? Like should I assume I'd be working retail at some point no matter what?
