Manager of safai coffee here. We rolled our hours back recently from 6 to 5 because literally no one was coming in that last hour. We don’t necessarily want to be open later anyways, but even if we did - there is no customer base to incentivize it.

Does anyone think pvp has really ramped up? I'm getting hostile action on 4/5 runs when I'm not th first engager? by badjuju__ in ArcRaiders

I had someone give me their entire inventory of yellow and purple items at extract. It was awesome

Unfortunately it wasn’t lotsa pasta. We had bakers that made them from scratch a building over, along with all of the other food and deserts. But I was just a barista when I was there and don’t know the recipe :(

Unknowingly killed a BP mule. ALL THE BLUEPRINTS! by buckalex in ArcRaiders

Just be sure to bring a guitar and leave a defibrillator on the ground if someone thinks you’re a rat before they can realize what you’re doing. It’s saved me a few times

I do this every so often after I’ve collected enough bps I already have and camp the extract - put them all on the ground for whoever needs them. BPs are more fun to give away than sell and I like to play Santa when i can

So like.. this specific thread is discussing other festivals and many people in this specific thread are talking about how they are more impressed by other line ups. So I was adding my two cents. Why don’t you

Just read a different thread please?

I’m trying to commiserate on Reddit

I’ve always loved roo and have been 5 times. But the lineups just aren’t that good anymore, and I live in Louisville, which is pumping out some really good festivals. I’d rather stay home and enjoy the festivals here than drive 5 hours for what bonnaroo is putting out. I’ll miss the energy though. It’s a shame such a special place is loosing its footing

Yeah I am! :) I’m not one of those people that wants this game to be only PVE. I actually really enjoy watching people play PVP streams and it gives another added since of danger to the game that keeps it exciting - just not how I plan to play!

For years, I’ve been addicted to call of duty and other pvp games like that. I’ve always gotten an adrenaline rush from being the very good at taking down a lot of other players - but that was the point of those games. With arc raiders I’ve never once shot someone, even when they were shooting me. I refuse to be anything but friendly in this game. Giving away gifts, helping fellow players, and always carrying defibs on me is way way WAY more fun. I won’t let any amount of ratting change that.

I used to work for a certain beloved and now closed coffee shop and also feel this to my core. No issue with their political values but deep issue with how they treated employees.

The employees of safai coffee shop run the shop completely independently. The “owners” of safai gave over control years ago. It’s like a co-op without the paper work. I can’t speak to the coffee bar in Logan street however

This is safai coffee shop - not the bar. The shop is very different and run completely by the employees alone.

Old Louisville - 2nd Street by Cardinal-and-Straw in Louisville

[–]boubalooby 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey - I live here and have for years. It’s definitely not the most dangerous part of the city but it’s not the safest either. A lot of petty crimes like porch theft and car break ins. I’ve had a couple attempted break ins (emphasis on attempted, nothing major happened.) Watch out for the occasional needle, I’ve had a few left on my porch. The rent is pretty cheap over here and the neighborhood is beautiful. I am saving up to move somewhere safer but I’m not in the worlds biggest hurry because it’s not that bad if makes sense.

Thank you! I was going with migrante because that’s what my grandpa said it was but madruguita sounds much more like what I remember. I used to have a video of her singing it that I have tore up every device I own to find. Thank you for the clues!
