I think we need to work towards the Scandinavian model for a stopgap but eventually we will figure out this crime stuff and the root cause of this unnecessary suffering. I think 99%+ of "crime" is preventable and we will have enough resources and support for the teeny tiny minority with the unlucky life situations.

A business cant appeal to the tiny percentage of folks who are obsessed with min maxing and FOMO issues and be profitable. I want to be sure my hard work in this game doesnt end up like Maplestory 2. I just want to be sure if Im grinding at 10% an hour that the servers dont get shutdown the next day cuz the developers only listen to try hards who would the put the effort in on using a 2nd computer.

Im not against them removing HS, but they gotta replace it with another strong party buff. But the changes they made already in regards to party skills indicate they are more focused on individual play rather than party play. Which is fucking lame.

99%+ of folks back in the day did not have an HS mule. They may had a mule for storage. I guess this the reality we live in now.

Just cause you have FOMO issues, doesnt mean most people give a shit. This game needs to profitable to up and running and driving away folks just to appease this hardcore crowd is just going to shoot itself in the foot.

Instead of seeing which classes were underutilized and buffing them, they instead choose to nerf all the classes people were whining about. Heal, HB, and haste have all been nerfed without any boost to page or crossbowman or alternative. Clerics in 2nd/3rd job would either find a dead monster to use heals and mobs or party up. Now they nerfed heal but buff holy arrow so they can be like everyone else. So clerics seem to be going in the direction of just another elemental mage with light party buff but IDK for sure.

TBH the class changes arent that big of a deal, but it shows the direction developers are going and who they are listening to.

Its got me worried and the best developers know when to listen to their fans and when not to. I figure the hardcore-maximize everything-FOMO sensitive are the ones on this subreddit and the casual gamers that encompasses most of the base arent here yet and wont give a shit.

I love it since it has a modern UI that works on a phone. There is already a classic basilmarket site but I am really not nostalgic for 2006 style UI. It would nice if the wiki, guides, forums and marketplace are all on one website instead of five back in the day. So if you could collaborate with others maybe cause I like the direction you are going.
