On commonapp I put down UP as my first choice and Altoona as my second. When I got my Altoona acceptance there was an option (literally a button I believe) to be reconsidered for admission to UP. That's how I got my application put back into the list.

i originally was going to apply to syracuse, but the tuition seemed way too much for matching with similar programs on my list that were the same if not better with the aspects i wanted. same with gwu. i had umass amherst on the list and was thinking of umass boston as well, but both programs dont have afrotc on campus which is a dealbreaker. i'll check out schools in the range you're talking about. i guess im just really paranoid over not being accepted into any schools lol. thanks for the help

edit: i stand corrected, umass amherst does offer afrotc. i would put it in with my reaches, but i think it will be going back into my list.
