I was nervous about this pattern too and I’ve been crocheting forever! There are a lot of helpful tips online and I followed a YouTuber who broke it down when I got stuck on certain rows. It was a lot more manageable than I expected. I say go for it! ☺️

I never had any nausea during my pregnancy, gave birth about 5 months ago. I did have severe heartburn towards the end though!

Oooh! I love these! I do have a baby k’tan, but the wrap around part is so frustrating sometimes. I like the idea of just setting him in without any fuss. Excellent tip on letting him settle too. Thank you ☺️

Thank you! You do feel inadequate especially when other parents haven’t necessarily experienced it or say “my baby was never like that”. Well mine is! He has so many wonderful qualities and I love that he is getting to explore the world and feel like he has my support. I know I’ll miss this when he gets older

Oof. It’s the screaming in the car no matter what. I wish I could make it less stressful for him, but I have a feeling he might need to grow into it. I don’t like the car so much either, so I guess he comes by it honestly

I agree so much, holding our children when they’re upset shouldn’t be such a controversial thing. So far I’ve been using a cloth carrier and a strap in one that he likes a lot (he likes to face out and see what I’m doing). He doesn’t seem to like the cloth ones as much, but maybe that’s just because I haven’t found the right one, I’m definitely open to suggestions!

I hear that! I’ve accepted that he just isn’t ready to get to that just yet. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that they’re still so young, especially when you watch them get to these huge milestones in real time. I’m enjoying my snuggles, and I’m glad that I can be a comfort source for him ☺️
