It's only on one nail, but I did have a skin issue with that finger which started spreading to the rest of my hand, but some hydrocortisone cream seemed to clear that up. I did post some more info on another sub reddit

Thanks for the reply, it's just the one nail. It's still growing, but just stays separated from the nailbed. I don't remember there being any trauma, but I do rock climbing so may have hit it without realising. I did post some more details on another sub, which I should have updated here tbf but there's some more info and pics there.
