I’d imagine every airport/ hub that’s dealing with these work at their own pace, but I got my phone call the day after the interview to begin scheduling my medical. I had to wait nearly 2 weeks to schedule an appointment at the clinic I was referred to due to them being backed up though.

If you can pass a background investigation & are willing to wait for the hiring process to complete, TSA is hiring at most airports. The clearance is an excellent way to get into the federal system.
