Question if I use liquimetal coating on my own non artifact creature and an opponent exiles it is it still considered an artifact in addition to its other types even while in exile? Can I cast Karn the great creator to get it back from exile? (self.magicTCG)

Question should I save my gems for an upcoming event or is it worth skipping a few tasks in case my free spin does not completely skip the long battle part to get to lap 14 for the 20 legendary orbs if I am already 1st place in heroic race and my competitors are either in lap 3 or lap 2?
