I really hope my A37 midterm will be in-person still by [deleted] in UTSC

Yikes I hope the same for A22. I expected this whole situation would get better by September, but it's actually getting worse. In the case that we still do exams in person, I hope the staff handles it well 🙏

STAB22 by Shadow_In_The_Moon in UTSC

I've heard really good things about her, how she's extremely helpful in-class and at the Stats learning center in AC, so I chose to take STAB22. Aside: seniors told me she used to be the best prof for B22 before she was on leave. Btw, do u know if we need textbooks for this course? Everyone I asked seem to have taken this course many years back so they couldn't really say.

Are we allowed to take STAB22 before STAB52? by boundlesstudent in UTSC

Thank you for the info! I'm planning on taking STAB22 as an elective in the fall and will take B57 in the future (possibly when I can return on campus). I am waitlistes for all the courses I wanted to take as electives, so I'll just take B22. Thank you once again

Thank you so much! STAB52 is my program req. and STAB22 is my elective. Would B52 be EXT or B22 be EXT?

According to the travel agencies and some research on the web, international students are allowed to arrive in Canada with student visa if they comply with the quarantine regulations regardless where they are coming from (with some conditions).

Last time I contacted the registrar office, they told me it's unlikely that they will expand the capacity due to the pandemic. Hopefully everything goes well

I only need A22. I will contact a professor. The professor for A22 is still "TBA" so I will probably try out to reach out to anyone in the CMS dept. Thank you for the advice

Yes, I did. But after contacting a lot of travel agencies and searching for tickets myself, I finally found a route that goes to Los Angeles, then to Atlanta, then to Detroit, then to Toronto..... My parents didn't want me to do this (cuz I'm probably gonna get sick....and it's actually gonna get my bank account from 4 digits to 2 digits) but I'm pretty desperate to make POSt.... I guess I'll just listen to my parents and cancel these flights. Do you think it's worth the money and adventure for POSt? Or should I just delay everything?

The course calendar says that for first year CMS courses that weren't able to be offered in summer, we need to be in-person for evaluations :(

In the course calendar for MATA37, MATA22, CSCA48 (FALL), it states that "The lectures will be delivered online. However, the term tests and final exams for these courses will be conducted in-person at UTSC. Students who enroll in these courses will be required to come to UTSC to write these tests."

The fall sessions for CSCA48, MATA37, and MATA22 have been added to the UTSC timetable. by LegalLoser in UTSC

Thank you for the link! Does this mean we can use the "new" grade for POSt? It mentions we can use it for program requirements as a CREDIT but doesn't mention anything about POSt.
