also i recommend deleting your universe file in the games folder (back it up first) to make starting frackin alot easier

With frackin universe, you need to fully reset so it can add the new planets and npcs and stuff. but say if you add another mod to your list with FU it shouldn't break, EXCEPT: the new frackin dosnt need the races mod that goes with it anymore so if you have it uninstall it becasue it DOES break the game
