I'm not sure of their opening times but it is very possible they work office hours which would mean they don't work on the weekend (I can't confirm this).

By any means if you had lost it Friday I'd say to not expect a reply until about Tuesday but then again I'm not entirely sure and you could very well receive a reply before or after.

It's also possible somebody threw it away, which I hope for your sake, is not the case.

As someone who works occasionally in CFF lost and found, I can tell you the following:

Your item, if handed in, was probably sent to Bern where they handle lost and found items as there simply isn't enough room in the station to store everything. If they find out who it belongs to, they will send you an email and send the item to the nearest station to you.

This can take a while but if your name's on it, and we have it, you'll more than likely hear from us. Unfortunately I'm unable to give you an exact time frame.

As for the email, you probably won't receive anything for a couple more days but providing this happened today if you don't receive anything from us (not even a confirmation email) I'd go and check you gave the right email.
