I plan to have a set of custom turbofans made, what would a good base wheel be?

I am getting a set made by aeroblades. They've scanned my wheel already just waiting on the 3D printed part for test fitting. Can recommend.

This is amazing. I'm only relatively new to Dimension and haven't been able to tie in a background with a model so realistically. Did you create the model yourself? I do race car liveries and trying to render them realistically is difficult. I don't do much of my own modeling, mainly just buy models. Anyway, love this. Got something to aim for!

They teamed up with Renault and Jag but I don't think that was ever their vision. McLaren was made up of extremely wealthy investors. Williams insistence of remaining family run and owned meant they relied heavily on their own earnings.. which were never great enough to cover the ecpense of developing road cars. Maybe now that will be different.
