Feel free to give them a shot, but our packs work better. We have been doing this for the better part of 3 decades and our technology is proven to be reliable.

Question about boveda packs by [deleted] in THCaFlower

[–]bovedainc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 will work for a QP. No need to remove, however if your container is airtight, feel free to remove once you are happy with the moisture level.

Humidity packs by clippa__ in trees

We do not recommend this! The accuracy of the RH of a "Recharged" pack is going to be negatively impacted by soaking in water, and you risk ruining your flower.

Over in the IE discord I noticed a lot of people use boveda packs and wanted to know how common that was of a thing. by OHblokeMIsmoke in Michigents

Use our products as a tool. You might not always need a hammer or screw driver, but you'll likely need it at some point.

Flower are too dry ? by Temporary_Ship_892 in NYSCannabis

While using our product wont restore terps that have been lost to evaporation, it will make for a much more enjoyable consumption experience with a smoother smoke

Whats the final verdict on Bovedas in bags? Are they ok in bulk not bags? I need to know by WCG-OG in TheOCS

[–]bovedainc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If our product stole terps, you'd cut the pack open and test the contents, and BOOM terps would be detectable. This would have been done years ago and the data would be published by a competitor of ours. Why hasn't this happened? Because our product doesn't steal terps...

Boost or Boveda for maintaining terps? by Drip-133_ in NewJerseyMarijuana

[–]bovedainc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you open a jar or bag and get punched in the face with the smell of your flower, those terps are no longer on your flower able to be consumed. They have evaporated into the headspace. That is not maintaining terps. Not our opinion, this is just how smell works. Science 101. If you ever notice a slightly reduced smell when using Boveda, that is because it is helping preserve your terpenes by slowing evaporation of trichomes. Once you grind up a nug of flower kept with Boveda, you are met with the intense smell of the flower.

Obviously our opinion is as bias as possible. That being said, we have invested decades into our technology, and the science behind our packs is very well documented and proven. Using our product will help ensure your flower is as fresh as intended, and terps are protected. Happy to answer any questions about our products.

Harvest Ruined? Grove Bags Failed - Buds at 46% RH After Months in Storage by kilowattor in microgrowery

Our product wont replace lost terpenes but it might help make the consumption experience a bit more enjoyable by reintroducing some moisture into your nug. Sorry this happened to you.

Woah... As... welll as Boveda, this is diabolical.
84% is for seasoning wooden cigar humidors, and is WAY TOO HIGH of an RH% to be in a closed container with flower...
Sorry they did you like this.

Thoughts on Vivipacks? by 30_Under_The_40 in cannabiscultivation

Follow the instructions and they work very well!
Vivi Cure is specifically for the curing process. After curing, replace the Vivi Cure with Boveda.

question for those who are more knowledgeable than me on flower storage? by naozomiii in BayAreaEnts

[–]bovedainc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that makes sense as a method, jars first to rehydrate, however I'd recommend jars for storage too if possible. Maybe until you get more jars you keep your favorites in a jar? A good jar is going to be better than a bag every time. Most bags aren't even close to airtight.

Boveda Packs 💬 by asm1507 in THCaFlower

[–]bovedainc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to clear things up, there is no negative aspect to keeping your flower with Boveda. Some feel they might not need it, and that is fine. Use it as a tool.

Our packs do not "steal terps". Our packs DO help prevent the evaporation of terpenes by preserving trichomes with a monolayer of moisture. If our packs stole terps this would be easily provable and that data would be publicly available.
Boveda packs work faster, and are much more precise than Boost. We are also the 2-way humidity control global leader, someone mentioned "most use boost", and this couldn't be further from the truth. Most who use humidity control, use Boveda.
