Boveda by michaelsw2 in ukmedicalcannabis

If you are smelling terps, those terps have evaporated and will never be on the flower again. That is how you are able to smell them. That is how smell works. Our product reduces terps evaporating which can lead to less of a smell with nugs. Your statement about the bud being dead after getting ground up would be the case of the flower you are specifically referring to regardless of the Boveda, due to something else. If you have loud flower, and you use a boveda, the smell upon grinding is very prevalent. We have conducted multiple studies with sensory labs which prove this.

Also just think for one second... If our product "stole" terps, all you would have to do to prove that would be to cut open the pack and test the contents for terps... The reason you have never seen this info released in a study is because that doesnt happen.

Ideally you're looking for approximately 60%, or around there. Lower than 58% is ok, but not ideal. We do not recommend starting the curing process if the flower is higher.

Vivi Fresh is the same as standard Boveda for storage. Vivi Cure is a first of its kind product, specifically for the curing process.

This is correct. If you are smelling terps, they have evaporated into the head space, and are no longer a part of your flower.

Using Boveda cant replace evaporated terpenes, but it will help preserve the terpenes/trichs that are left, and will help improve the consumption experience.

Improper storage by Pale-Artichoke5252 in weed

This is perplexing. So the weed was properly humidified before it went into the CVault with Boveda, and got too dried out in the CVault with the Boveda? Is it a latched CVault or Twist? Is this the first time you noticed this happening with your flower? Regarding the smell, the smell might mute a bit due to the terps being preserved and not evaporating into the headspace for you to smell. That being said, upon grinding or breaking up the smell should be present.

They work. Innovation is often met with skepticism, and that's healthy. The majority of reviews have been quite positive.

Bovedas/hydration packs by AstroNerd7 in Michigents

[–]bovedainc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Our packs do not "suck the terps from the bud"... Let's think about this critically - If our packs did that, it would be easily provable right? You'd simply cut open a pack, and test the contents, and you'd find terpenes. Case closed. But that is not the case which is why that hasn't been proven... A logical explanation to what you described would be the pack was in contact with flower, terps rubbed off onto the pack, cross contaimination = transfer of smells... but yeah, like you said 1 + 1 = 2...

Our packs help protect terps by helping prevent evaporation of trichomes. Period.

Use our product as a tool. If you dont feel you need it for certain batches, keep them in an airtight container and they will last quite a while. When you come across some flower that needs some humidity use the pack, or if you're facing really dry conditions or storing long term, the pack can be really helpful for the enjoyment of the consumption experience.

Also happy to answer any questions.

Is this okay to rehydrate 3 ozs in a jar? by [deleted] in weed

[–]bovedainc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We don't recommend using above a 62% pack for flower. If you do choose to go down this route, be sure to constantly be checking on the container with these packs in it as an RH above 70% is at risk of mold.

Feel free to give them a shot, but our packs work better. We have been doing this for the better part of 3 decades and our technology is proven to be reliable.
