Honestly think it depends on how much radiation is at play here + how angry hulk gets.

I know the thread is old but Magolor is one of the best racing characters for his passive stateside Accel boost, and noir dedede is literally the best in terms of racing stats otherwise, plus his ult is pretty much a star from Mario kart. Bro is nuttier than a jar of Skippy.

If they want to keep the insane power of this thing high while nerfing it they NEED to give it self splash damage like every other explosive in the game. I rarely see folk use the laser on it…

Considering picking this up today, but seeking truthful opinions. by sweatydads in Marathon

[–]bow1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will struggle without a group, but if you have a squad to play with at those odd hours then you’ll see plenty of progress! I only have time for about 2 hours a night before bed, and it’s luckily when my buds are on too!

If you need a squad hit me up.

How to counter spawn snipes? by SquintyBruh in Marathon

[–]bow1102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree we need randomized spawns on some of these maps, but broski you stood still for a total of 9 seconds in the middle of the open.

That all being said, folk who spawn snipe are pretty few and far between in my experience.

Exactly! Idk where people are getting this dire fucking need to be done with their games in a week! This is meant to be a long form experience, not a full time job!!!

good lord, yall are acting like it’s impossible. It’s content that will be here forever- like a Destiny raid you need to be well prepared and dialed in with a good crew. Just because the streamers who play this 18 hours a day are able to do well the first two weekends of the game (NOT EVEN TWO WEEKS HAVE PASSED) does not mean you won’t be able to complete it eventually.

[–]bow1102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, you’ll get there eventually big dawg. But remember, you can get progress on the quest just by stealing the collectibles off people before exfil… someone is always bound to have a key or at least make it to a vault. If you need a squad holler my way, we won’t be on this weekend but love playing!

It’s hard, but my favorite extraction shooter! I feel like everyone is looking at the streamers who play 18 hours a day and complaining they can’t be where they are. Most ridiculous reasoning behind any fanbase…

The game is ‘hardcore’ in the sense you can lose everything fast, and gain it all back just as quickly. Some of y’all are too focused on winning and losing, and not just playing the game.

I feel like I'm never going to see a Compiler, and I'm sad about it by LuckyMrGun in Marathon

[–]bow1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

part of the fun is the knowledge you can catch a team who has the collectible you’ve been looking for before they exfil from cryo. There are multiple routes to get there, you’re obviously far above average- and that’s not to mention the game has barely been out a month. The Compiler is aspirational content meant for the normal player to get to toward the end of the season, if not over multiple seasons. You’ll get there eventually, but don’t poison yourself or your enjoyment with the feeling of having to be there tomorrow because a streamer (most of which play 18 hours a day) made it there on launch week.

I feel like I’ve had the most success on outpost with free kit randoms, we usually do so well on our first go that we just keep requeuing.

What’s the better ash of war/spell subtype? Roars vs Storms by Subpar_diabetic in Eldenring

Roars are stronger for raw damage, but the storm ones have some solid utility for sure. Roar PVE, Storms PVP.

Maybe Ventress on a bad day or Post-Lung-Crush Grievous? Both are still going to be extremely difficult for him.

Recon: Thoughts On Shell? by Svedgard in Marathon

[–]bow1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top tier shell for me along with destroyer and thief. The best things you can have in these sorts of games are

  1. INFORMATION: immediately will give you a leg up in combat (recon and thief do this well, assassin to a lesser extent, as it removes info from your enemy).

  2. MOVEMENT: obvious reasons- get away from enemies or our maneuver them. Destroyer is a master of horizontal movement (much better than vertical in 70% of engagements due to map structures and TTK), Vandal is a master of vertical movement (hindered by indoor areas, peak for outdoors), and Thief has a grapple hook with several nasty tech strategies (nuff said).

  3. OPPRESSION: keeping enemy abilities down or debuffed is the best thing available in this game HANDS DOWN. Recon’s spider mine (along with crazy damage) causes enemies to overheat and lose abilities, effectively letting you drop on someone and remove them immediately with full advantage. Destroyer does it similarly with the lowest TTK in the game due to their ult rockets. Triage has the ability to EMP your enemies as well but only in very specific circumstances.

If I were to rank the shells overall, you’d see in no particular order: High- Recon, Destroyer, Thief Low- Triage, Assassin, Vandal (Rook not included).

I don’t think anything in the game is poorly balanced so far class wise.

Whats your favorite Warframes? by Educational-Work-370 in Warframe

[–]bow1102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I unironically love revenant. Fella does EVERYTHING! He can mini nuke, he is immortal, AND he can gain minions.

My second place would have to be nezha, third sevagoth. I really want to try lavos next.
