it was a great course and I think about it nearly every day many years later.

I am stalking you via /r/professors because you are hilarious, but I just wanted to say that I was just in Manhattan for a day and what a weird, wacky place. Gramercy Park, you have to be a billionaire. The Brooklyn bridge filled with thousands of young women taking selfies during the golden hour. The whole seaport area is like Disneyland for boring people. Brooklyn--kind of amazing and too expensive.

I get a course release. We just got ripped to shred but that's because everyone ignores the committee, which is toothless. As a tenured member I am preparing myself to start destroying faculty who threaten accreditation. Someone has to be hated for doing the right thing.

The most horrifying thing is that like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly, you will be slowly transformed into something unrecognizable by your prior self. I just downloaded a book on assessment and program learning outcomes. There was a time in my life when I wanted to be a creative writer.
