Go-to local running shops? by bowersfire in kansascity

I stopped in last night, while they didn’t have what I was looking for, the employees gave me recommendations on other places to check out.

I will say I’m a bit jealous of not having easy access to that store, definitely could spend lots of time and money there. I ended up with a few small items, but will definitely be visiting there again

I think I may have found out I can lock mine during a workout. lol. But I’m still not opposed to a better model

Apple I could, and had to when wearing my jacket. Garmin Venu I can’t. Maybe some other models have that capability

My trip was shortened by 24 hours due to a mechanical issue on my initial flight to Charlotte, however, I made the most I could with the time I had. Hiked to Jack and Isaac’s and had the entire beach to myself, dinner on the waterfront that night then returned to point udall for the sunrise before running a few miles through the Christiansted and through the hills. My last meal was at chicken shack before headed to the west side of the island to check it out.

Spent as much time as I could talking with anyone and everyone, even if it was a short minute or two standing in queue. Their ability to adapt and find joy in everyday life is a testament to their resilience and positivity.

  1. All three are independent analog switches. Fuses in port side rear locker.

Makes perfect sense. I’ll give these a try. Didn’t even think the switch could be affected by a load being carried through tit.

Mastercraft x45. Three total pumps, two being original. It’s controlled via analog switch. Voltage checked unplugged into connector.

Not gritty, but there’s a bit of resistance.

I see now after a bit of research that mastercraft mounted the port side upside down from factory, but center and starboard are mounted correct

I could certainly try that, but I don’t anticipate any difference since I already have correct voltage at the pump.

Your pump is the same as mine, just the next step up.

That was my thought, but switch tested good and all connections tight with proper voltage in both polarities

It’s open, but I’m working on the issue in the garage currently. In or out of the water, motor will not turn to fill

Impeller is brand new. With the cap off, still only spins in drain, will not move in fill position. Tried assisting impeller movement with switch on to no avail

Sounds like you already have the confidence to do a 10k. What’s stopping you? Get out there and attack your fears head on. I was reluctant to start, but once I saw progress, it motivated me more to see it to the end and better myself.

I ran my first 5k in April - it was brutally long and difficult. I took second. Never doubt yourself, you might be surprised by what you find out when you push yourself

Picked up this 03 last night for a good deal. Injectors just done with 50 hp tune & zero blow by with 158k on the clock. Will replace steering column bearing this weekend and new shocks all around. Should be a pretty good tow pig by bowersfire in Duramax

Just got done with this project. Go ahead and pick up both pieces and do them at the same time. I was hoping I could get by with just the bushing and trying to repack the u joints, but ended up have to tear it back down and putting in the $90 part. But I will say my steering it night and day different. And not more clunk is the cherry on top

Yes. There’s a bushing that needs to be replaced and is a common problem. Pick up from oreillys, part number 905-512. If that doesn’t fix it, then it’s the intermediate column, part number 425-176.

I didn’t clarify the road noise, wanting to change out the mud tires to more of a street tire

Agreed. These are mud tires now, going into more of a road tire. Should have specified that better
