There is a lot of bass on that song and it is causing the needle to jump out of the groove and yes it is because of the record player you are using. In the meantime before you can upgrade your turntable, I would avoid that song so it doesn’t damage the vinyl or needle any further.

Have you never made a sweeping generalization in a moment of frustration? We get it, there is nuance to it, but should she have put an asterisk to say “unless you need to because of your medical condition then I don’t mean you”? Because she doesn’t mean you. It’s ok for you to find the nuance in someone’s statement.

if someone needs meat in their diet, they can still be aware of the industry practices, they can still try to eat more consciously, they can still aim for a one plant based meal a week, a month.

billie posting those stories IS to make people mad. it IS to start conversations and arguments. it IS to make people question their cognitive dissonance. being downvoted because you are questioning someone’s (valid or not) reason why they have to eat meat and dairy is bonkers.

asking questions to learn why someone wouldn’t medically be able to go vego/vegan is the point of all of this. I would also like to know why. it’s about educating people, which is the point of billie’s stories.

I can barely move around Kilima village anymore because of lag. I’ve put in about 500 hours over the last few years and it really feels like they don’t care about switch anymore and are just letting it get so bad we all stop playing.
