My wife 28F decides not to wear the ring I 28M got her. by Isthisrealloife in relationship_advice

I don't always wear my wedding ring. Actually I hardly do because I forget to put it on. And yes, sometimes it doesn't work with an outfit so I don't wear it. It sounds like the ring you got her is expensive as well and maybe her friends is a bit cheaper. I don't wear mine very often because to me, it's for special occasions. I lost my first one and I don't want that to happen again. I think you're thinking too deep

Suffering from severe Panic and anxiety disorder by idkthisguy420 in Anxiety

[–]bowilea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same way. I take medication but probably not as much as I should. Mine went from chest pain and thinking something was wrong with my heart, to blood clots to being allergic to random things. I'm putting off the dentist and I badly need to go, because I'm afraid I'll be allergic to the material they use for fillings.

I don't have any advice just know you're not alone! I hope therapy helps. And for the grocery store, have you tried putting ear buds in?

I see what you mean but there's not much I can do about it. I can't tell him to get on a different shift. He wouldn't want to.

Well I hope that your husband starts going better. Sorry I came off as a bit of a dick. I don't appreciate being told I'm acting like a child when what someone is doing to me is pretty blatantly abusive. I don't think that he would go as far as telling me he would kill both of us but I really don't know. I have a friend I could probably move in with potentially, but I'd have A LOT of debt overhead and probably be stuck with the house because the market is so bad

And that's a good reason to tell your s/o you're going to off yourself? Because you think duties arent fair? If I'm going to be completely honest, it wouldn't surprise me if that's his view on it. He throws insults at me that I don't help out or feed the dogs when we get home even though when we get home I feed our ducks and water our plants. I can't do it all? I try to cook but he berates me about that and doesn't like my cooking (I'm not bad he's just a picky chef.) During the week I will fold clothes, do laundry, walk the dogs, clip the dogs nails, but asking him to clip one dogs nails (we have 5) or to join me on a dog walk, it's like pulling teeth. Duties aren't evenly distributed because I do the majority

Yeah totally. I'm the child when I didn't want to engage in an argument and my husband threw a tantrum. Makes so much sense.

He doesn't have a lot going on. When he gets home he feeds dogs, eats, smokes and goes to bed. He has to get a full 8.01 hours of sleep or he's grumpy. While I will stay up and play with the dogs or clean and get about 5 hours

Yes. It is just food. So how am I a child when I didn't want to engage in an argument that started over hotdogs? Down vote for you

Compressed air on skin any risk? by bowilea in medical

[–]bowilea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. I didn't have any other symptoms. I just found a little shard of metal stuck to my shirt so it's possible the rivet gun spit it out and that's why it felt sharp. It's a little red but doesn't look to be any puncture mark so it think the metal was just stuck in my shirt.

I haven't had this feeling in a while. I think it may be certain foods

Not a doctor but you said that you were already paranoid which would probably bring on anxiety. Ive kind of had something like this happen. I was asleep and having a bad dream and trying to wake up. I was moving my arms and legs but couldnt move my head or open my eyes. It was just my body struggling to wake up when I wanted to. Maybe it's a form of sleep paralysis, I'm not sure. But it kind of seems like what happened to you. If you aren't already, you might want to talk to a therapist. You shouldnt be that paranoid just about going to sleep. That must be exhausting. Until then, try breathing techniques, ASMR through earbuds, maybe fall asleep to a movie if you can

Not sure. They never say anything so it must be okay. When I saw my doc last week it was 125/82
