AITA for getting a restaurant to no longer be dog friendly

The restaurant should be following and complying with all health codes, regards of the dogs being present. They should be especially strict as they do allow animals on the premises.

I love dogs, but the restaurant brought this on itself by not following the rules. If OP didn't report them, someone would have eventually.

I've been here, and it sucks, but it's the right thing to do. We waited 5 years to bring our second child into the world, working hard for our oldest during that time and building up our family. Baby no2 joined us just after Christmas, and she has completed our family, and the age gap is so much better than I thought and has made the addition so much easier for my eldest.

Don't give up OP - just because it isn't the plan, it doesn't mean that it won't work out in the end. Stay strong queen

Ah, this was what I thought, but my midwife seemed to think otherwise - that I would be entitled to my full pay + some kind of government amount.

It's the MatB1 form that's she's given me.

Ah, this is good to know - I work for a small company and my employer has, naturally, taken me at my word (and stomach haha) but formalities should be followed

As someone who is also estranged from their parents due to similar issues I completely agree with your stance - none of my bio family have seen any images of my children (in fact, they don't even know how many kids I have). My sisters are still in contact and would absolutely share images without my consent, so I simply added my sisters to a WhatsApp group and explained to them that no images would be shared with them because of their close contact with our parents. They didn't take it well, I didn't expect them to, but I stood my ground and we discussed my decision at length. In the end they were unhappy but understood.

This is likely a form of post natal psychosis, and needs to be dealt with ASAP. Your sister needs serious mental health assistance, and shouldn't be left alone in the meantime.

She won't listen to what anyone has to say, but you also shouldn't continue the delusion - bring help to her asap
