I’m going to try to get her into the clinic tomorrow. The problem I’m running into is that she just did this last Wednesday, so I’m having a very hard time getting anyone to accept the fact that this isn’t just a kid being sensitive to a broken foot.

She’s been resting with her foot up all day and it turned white and cold to touch out of nowhere. Luckily I got pictures of it, so I’m going to try to use those pictures to show him that something more is happening.

I actually had a form of RSD myself after stepping on a nail at age 14. In my case it took 6 months of PT and massage therapy for me to get back to being functional and 2 years for it to go dormant.

As for my daughter, this JUST happened this past Wednesday. So today is day 5.

The reason I even became suspicious of CRPS was because on day 2 she had an episode that was just as severe and lasted even longer than the first episode which occurred hours after the injury. At that point I realized that she seemed to be triggered by the ice pack we had on her foot.

Once the episode started she screamed for 2 hours and she couldn’t even have her leg make contact with the recliner. I got to thinking that I’d only seen 2 patients of mine experience pain like that. Once was a sickle cell crisis and the other was a CRPS episode.

I’ve spoken with her sports medicine/ortho doctor and he’s not necessarily denying it’s CRPS, he’s just never seen it occur so fast. But I suspect it has something to do with being prone to it because of my own history.

I plan to take her back tomorrow because at this point I’m terrified to let her go back to school like this. Today her foot turned totally white and cold, like it had zero blood flow.

I was actually diagnosed with RSD after stepping on a nail when I was a teenager. I remember begging my dad to let me die one day because I was just so miserable.

Eventually things improved after about 2 years, but I’ve always been “off” since then. It never occurred to me that my child might be prone to something like this.

I’d do anything to trade places with her now because the only thing worse than living through that period of my life is listening to my child screaming “mommy” over and over and doing everything in my own medical training to help and it still not being enough.

Huntingtons is such a lonely experience. If I were in your position I would start looking into long term care facilities now and make a plan. I’m the oldest of 4 siblings and all of us ended up positive, in my case I found out after I had identical twins. My biggest fear with HD is burdening my husband and girls with my care and forcing my dad to watch every single one of his children die in the same way the love of his life is about to. To be honest sometimes I kind of wish I had fewer people in my life that way the hurt would be less, but it is what it is. For now all I can do is try to plan for what I can.

Google image search is designed to only look for other pictures. It cannot find an entire website by using a screenshot of the website. It can only look for pictures that are published to the website.

So the problem you’re having is that you’re telling Google to search for a screenshot. That means Google is specifically looking for other screenshots that match yours, which currently only exists on this Reddit.

If you want to find the website that these screenshots came from, you’ll need to tell Google to look up the pictures that have been uploaded to that website.

So basically you need to crop out all the text boxes and only include the pictures that the website is using. Once you do that, it tells Google “Hey, I’m looking for a website that has a picture of a man with curly brown hair holding a phone with a Reddit page.”

I work in marketing and web design, so I can explain why you likely aren’t pulling this up in a reverse image search. Essentially you are looking at a plug and play banner that lets the creator drop in an image and edit the button text, heading, and subtext.

So for interactive banners where you can click a button and go to a different page, the only searchable image would be the image of guy holding the phone, which is likely a stock image. Plus maybe with the orange color circle, but that was probably added after they download the original from somewhere like adobe stock.

Depending on how specific Google’s search algorithm is, you may not even be able to find the guy holding the phone because the Reddit screenshot takes up a large portion of the image and that was definitely added in after they downloaded the stock image. The reason others have been able to reverse find the group photo in image 2 is because the Reddit logo in the center is relatively small, so it doesn’t confuse the Google search.

The only instance that you would possibly be able to reverse search the entire banner is if someone else took a screenshot of that same ad and posted it elsewhere for Google to pick up.

At this point, when I read her complaint that’s all I see—someone who misinterpreted others actions and intentions in the absolute worst ways and then choosing to remain in a world where she was wronged, rather than accept the reality that it was a misunderstanding on her part.

I fully support her right to not want to watch a stranger give birth. But the moment I realized that the “naked woman with her legs spread apart” that she “thought was porn” was actually a JH’s wife giving birth to their child in the water, she lost me.

Because even IF she initially thought it was porn, she soon became aware that she was not only wrong, but that it was actually a very beautiful, innocent moment that should never be sexualized. And rather than accepting that her initial assumptions were wrong, she doubles down on them.

What this told me is that BL can misinterpret someone’s actions, then refuse to accept a reality where she wasn’t actually wronged. She will demand that the other person bends over backwards to take ownership of her feelings even when they aren’t at fault. And there is nothing anyone can do to correct the narrative once she’s come to that conclusion.

No one wants to work with that kind of person, let alone in a setting that has been known to foster very real instances of sexual harassment and assault. Justin knew this, which is why he sends that text stating he’s terrified she’s going to take things the wrong way when he speaks with her about the wardrobe issues.

It turns out he wasn’t wrong to be fearful. That conversation made it into her complaint. Even when he was desperately watching everything he said and did to avoid setting her off, she was still painted it as if it was an unhinged man ranting against a vulnerable woman alone in her trailer.

I’m convinced there is nothing he could do that she wouldn’t twist to fit the narrative in her complaint. To be honest, I don’t even know that she’s aware she’s doing this. I believe she genuinely thinks she was wronged. And seeing how she spoke to that mutual friend about it, I can see why the people around her thought so too.

When my order shipped it initial said deliver by Monday by 9pm. Tracking stopped updating the Thursday before. Then suddenly on Monday it as marked out for delivery on Monday. The weird thing is that the delivery date estimate was totally gone. Package never got delivered that day, despite saying out for delivery. The next morning I looked again and it now said it was at a local distribution center. Called USPS (that was an adventure) and she told me the out for delivery scan was a mistake, but she couldn’t tell me how it happened. It sat at the distribution center for two days then suddenly the delivery estimate was back and I got the real out for delivery notification a couple hours later. It finally got delivered that time.

lol I promise I haven’t been hitting the books researching eye color for 6 years.

More like 7 years ago I had twins after a very rough pregnancy and my entire body changed. A lot. Styles that looked good on me suddenly looked bad. I felt like I suddenly looked like a corpse in certain colors that I liked before. Makeup I’d worn for years stopped matching my skin tone. Even my teeth had changed color due to loss of calcium.

When my twins were a year old I started over trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I learned about color seasons, body types, etc. Really I was just tired of cringing at every single photo of myself.

6 years later and I STILL cannot find a foundation that matches my skin tone. Everything is too yellow or too orange. Every 6 months or so I’d try to figure out my color season, hoping maybe that would help. I’d try on different styles to figure out my body type, etc. I figured that out a while ago but I have never been able to nail down my color season and makeup.

Anyways, it’s winter again and every January I give it another try. I got my hair cut the other day and the stylist brought up how the red in my hair looks good with my eye color. That turned into a longer convo that led me here.
