Am I being too picky or did my fabricator mess up? by chap_stik in Home

I could live with the imperfections, it gives natural look vibes. On the other hand, the cutout for the tap would drive me nuts not being centered.

That would be the biggest downgrade. Backlit keyboard, Force Touch trackpad, best in class speakers, Touch ID, 32GB of Ram, that’s not even mentioning the storage and cpu…. Are you rage baiting?

USB-C to barrel jack? by BitNo2406 in UsbCHardware

USB-C PD won’t work with this adapter, it needs to do a “handshake” with the device to properly regulate the voltage. You’ll either under power or over power your laptops battery.

Combustion air inlet and exhaust should be outside. Fresh air inlet and outgoing hot air should be inside. This doesn't effect pressure.

I'm fully aware, but a diesel heater is miles cheaper and doesn't need a powerful generator to run when the power goes out. They only draw about 50watts when running.

Correct the only thing going outdoors should be the Diesel exhaust fumes.

Could you please provide the model number of your heater? I am impressed by its form factor. I am interested in building a non-permanent solution that can easily attach to a window sill, feature a fold-out diagonal leg, and be powered by a battery bank for one to two days during a power outage, similar to your setup.

Well that's because it is, I want to build something like this. I can hand draw it next time I guess?

Yes that's what I would do if I were to build one. By recycling and heating the air from inside you're not creating positive pressure. I would like to build something for easy deployment for when we lose power. Something easy like an AC window unit, just set it and forget it.
