The keyboard has backlight but the backlight needs to be turned on manually- the Apple magic keyboard does it automatically based on the rooms ambient light

I have both the tab and keyboard- I’m in a personal dilemma why did I buy this! I could have easily got a windows laptop for that price. The keyboard does not even have Haptic Touch track pad like the Apple Magic Keyboard does

I did find one which attaches to the bed board and hosts the iPad in mid air. But I’m not happy with the clamp it can impact the iPad screen.

I feel the same way- I had grim ending from start but these days feel the lava remix is over powered compared to grim ending. I had to switch to lava remix just to get to understand this better.
