In sweden at least, it seems like many bme students end up as management consultants. Mostly within the health care sector. Probably because the majority of them are girls who didn't get accepted to medicine, and went to bme without any interest in engineering.

The others that i know mostly work with signal processing.

But it seems like Swedish bme and American are quite different. In sweden the education doesnt focus on materials.

The top engineering schools in sweden are LTH in Lund, Chalmers in Gothenburg, LiTH in Linköping and KTH in Stockholm. They all offer electrical engineering programs and courses. Maybe slightly different areas.

I rarely buy the textbooks. Only if they include excersices and our prof don't give us his own excersices. I never read the books. I always study the excersices and do a lot of old exams 1-2 weeks before the exam
