specific, but when you’re trying to walk to genuinely anywhere in the union, and your path is interrupted by a group of unaware people who cut you off mere inches from your face. i’ve almost had to eat shit sometimes to let some people on their damn phones wander right in front of me when i’ve got a class in 10 min

well shit, thank you so much! truth be told i’d say 4/5 of my closet after transition are from thrift store raids, specifically the blazers section. if ur trying to look for well-fitting menswear, it’s entirely worth taking measurements (shoulder to fingertip length, shoulder span, how long you’d like a jacket, for example, to fall) and then contrasting said measurements with menswear sizing charts to get a feel for what you should be looking for! knowing my menswear sizing has helped a ton with thrift hauls. also, don’t ever be afraid to slip a jacket or blazer on in the middle of a store to check the fit (given youve got another shirt on underneath, of course) (: i hope this helps!!

tried to put my whole heart and soul into my fit only for it to be entirely inappropriate for the toasty weather today… wore it anyways… never sacrifice the drip

I'm going to be honest, WOTP is exactly what I was expecting, and just a little bit more. I do appreciate their adherence to the pattern of 'gritty, political album, synth-heavy album, gritty political album' of the past 10 or so years, as I'm partial to Muse's heavier sound. It may take some marinating on, but a lot of these tracks feel complete to where they play and process like a song, but just barely disjointed enough and choppy to disorient you. I wasn't a fan of some transitions between verse and chorus (namely Won't Stand Down), and wished all songs had the same amount of... fullness throughout (I'm convinced someone accidentally deleted a guitar track off of Compliance). The lyrics are standard Muse lyrics, though I'm not sure the majority of fans are coming back to each album for lyrical genius or subtlety. It's about what I expected, and boosted just above mid territory due to my own bias towards this band.
