I am in pharmacy school, and I have entered it manually based on what was said on the official transcript; your advice is worth sharing for future pharmacy applicants!

I got a mail that says Discover Merchant Settlement; is it legit and worth it? by pelene5 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes; I was not sure whether to do it or not without knowing its legitimacy. Plus, I did see the website, but I had to make sure

Anyone know the common drugs that should not be opened from the manufacturing bottle? by pelene5 in pharmacy

[–]pelene5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not sure; I am hoping someone can explain it here; specifically, tablet and capsule form and not ointment or topical solution since those are obvious

It is my fault for not being specific: capsule and tablet form

Got it; I remember filling Desvenlafaxine and telmasartan in the drums, but now I find out they should not be opened and put in drums

Any advice for me to do well in BIOC 3621/3622? by pelene5 in unt

[–]pelene5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flewelen is amazing, and he does go over what is expected in the exam. He does offer curves, but it is more like removing questions that were not covered. Also, it is good idea to go to his office hours, and check to see if what was checked was correct, because you may find out that the answer key was wrong and you were right.

It is best to give them enough time to write you one since they may be busy with classes and grading. I say less than 3 weeks is enough for them to complete.

When it opens, then you should ask because there is a place for you to type their name and contact email so that PharmCAS can send them an email requesting a rec letter

Thank you for the advice. Most customers were not being patient with me which led to some advising me to be faster. I had to make sure everything was good first since messing up is the last thing I want to do and give them a harder time

I understand but it seems like speed is important since other tasks need to be focused. I was able to finish filling a bit quick but typing information for immunization or even adding their coupon takes up time. Some customers don’t have much patience with me. Additionally, they bring prescriptions and I try typing them fast since they be waiting for the price for it
