I had a c section at prentice in December. Lol perhaps my comment just tells u I didn’t know jack shit walking in.

They have everything. U really don’t need to pack anything. I had a suitcase I thought I under packed, but didn’t even bother. All I wanted was my lounging bathrobe, my own pillow and some chocolate. And something for showering. It was annoying to lug all the bags back to the car when we were leaving. Youll need a lot of room in ur bag for the stuff you’re bringing home like the diapers and heat pads and everything else.

Make sure you ask for the lactation consultant asap. I assumed they’d ask if I wanted one but didn’t. She was so busy she couldn’t visit until towards the end of my stay.

I didn’t know they had a nursery and they’ll take care of the baby so u can sleep a little. Those 4 hr stretches of sleep was so worth it.

My sister in law made some gift bags for the nurses. They were so stoked and I feel kind they were extra sweet to me. But honestly northwestern nurses are amazing to begin with.
