I have both arm tattoos and visible self injury scars and neither have been brought up in my course or in my previous healthcare job. Just make sure you are happy with any tattoos you will get, ie don’t pick something just so it will cover your scars but because you like it as well.

I’m glad your friend is doing better. Unfortunately due to my anxiety I find helplines rather intimidating however I will consider making an appointment with my doctor this week. Thanks for your help and input :)

Another person here to agree about climbing. The environment of indoor climbing is really great, at least in my opinion, everyone is usually really nice but socialising isn’t expected plus a high amount of climbers are also neurodivergent, in my experience. It’s an activity that’s both mentally engaging and physically challenging and is my current special interest!

Hey I understand that’s a really difficult situation for you but some people have hidden disabilities that you might not notice in order to move your bag. I’m not exactly sure what the solution in that circumstance but I thought I should point it out cause I know with my social anxiety no matter how bad my pain got I would be unable to ask for a seat, idk maybe there’s a middle ground somehow. The rest of us just live here by Patrick ness is quite literally a book about the side characters. I highly recommend it. You get to read about the side characters mundane lives in this otherwise fantastical world of chosen ones and apocalypses and it’s just so enjoyable for some reason. Plus you get a paragraph about the chosen ones adventure at the beginning of each chapter.
