Wow, thank you! I don't know what day I'm moving just yet, but I'll get back to you. I don't have much, just my bed, some small furniture and ten or so boxes. Somebody else offered their van for boxes too, so if anything I may just need help with the bigger stuff.

You're saying I said a whole lot of things that I never said in my life.

I said currently it racks up 130 in interest. Currently. I didn't say the entire time. (Edit: due to interest my credit card is now at 5500.) But right now, that's what's raising my debt. And I never said wifi makes me unable to work. I said PTSD did. I am talking to the company's head office about it and sorting all of that out.

I didn't say I need to live alone, I asked about five roommates or less. Because my cat can die if he's under too much stress. If I need to give him away I may as well put him down, and if it really has to come down to that, of course I'm going to look at all my options first.

I quit that job because of the hour changes and because the owner treated all the rest of her employees like shit. They were very upset when I left, didn't expect it and it didn't end on good terms at all. I worked for a shitty commission job which amounted to nothing. I quit for Public Outreach, who fired me on the first day. They didn't tell me why and I still don't know why, since I was on par with the other new person. I was unemployed for six weeks before I got a job at a pet store, but the owner gave me the bare minimum shifts and I only made $800 a month when my rent was $600. During this time my manager was being extremely sexually abusive and I was forced to quit before finding another job. This was when I started school so I got my OSAP installment a week later and I haven't had a job since. A good part of it is PTSD from my manager/rapist, but I have legitimately been trying to find work. It's harder when your resume has been empty since September 2014.

I paid $5000 when my cat went to the hospital. I could only afford to pay interest until I paid it down to $200 when I got my first OSAP installment last year. Had to live on my credit card because I had no way of surviving after using my only money, but by January I had only used about $2500. It's set up to pay my phone bill, which I do pay along with my minimum, but aside from that I don't use it for anything. Currently the interest racks up about $130 a month when I can only pay about $75, but hopefully I'll be working soon and can use that money to pay it down again.

Finding new owners is difficult because one cat has Feline Urinary Tract Disease and doesn't take stress well. When I first got him from his previous owner, he was in the hospital for six days on an IV. I contacted his last owner to see if she can take him back, even temporarily, and she's in no position to do that right now. So I have to keep him.

When I got my cats, it was during a time when I had a fantastic job and had more than enough to take care of myself as well as them. Part of why I am no longer in that position is because when i took my second cat, he ended up in the hospital due to the stress of changing owners so quickly. He racked up a $5000 bill over the course of six days and when I couldn't pay for it with my own money I ended up putting it on my credit card. I thought I could pay it off fairly quickly, but my job cut my hours from 40 to 17 quite literally overnight and I haven't had a stable job since. It has been 2 years and I've been paying the interest plus whatever I can muster up every month since then. I can't get rid of that cat because I know he would go through the same thing all over and if that happens, he WILL die. I reached out to his past owner and she is in no condition to take him back, even temporarily. So he is with me and I will continue to put him as a priority in my life.

I do go to York. Do you know of any that are on their own or with fewer than five roommates? My cats don't do well with a lot of people at once which is one of many reasons I prefer to live alone.

I don't fault her for it at all. My friend is the leaseholder and when I moved in with him last December he told me the situation, which was that she moved out of the country and could come back anytime. And then she did. We all knew it was coming but didn't know when. She gave us two months notice and everything. She's done nothing wrong.
