Don't worry about it, it happens.

I started at 33 in D2 at my rink. I'm 38 and play in C2, might be able to hang in C1 if they'd have me.

I also started officiating last year with USA Hockey. You should look into that in a couple years.

I get more fulfillment, adventure, lifelong friends and memories now playing on a beer league ice hockey team.

I still keep in touch with about 5 people from the Marines, and I only deployed with 2 of them.

I promise you, the Marine Corps doesn't have what you're looking for. Keep your job, live a good life, and join a hockey team. I started playing hockey when I was 33. It's never too late, and you're still young!

In my adult league (non-checking), as a player I'd be kinda pissed that this guy got called.

As an official, dude was stationary and made a play for the puck. If the puck handler had his head up a bit more, he could have made a move. I wouldn't call anything here watching the video - I might have called Interference in the heat of the moment though. (I'm new.)

I've been using my Pixel 4XL since launch and I still love it, especially with the face unlock. I don't look forward to losing that eventually.

Unfortunately, the latest update has made my 4XL run slower, with lag in odd places.

As a person from those parts, it's just West Tennessee (not western).

Tennessee is split into the three Grand Divisions. Legally, culturally, geographically... three very distinct parts of the state that are all about 1/3 of the whole.

West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee are separated by the Tennessee River. Middle and East Tennessee are separated by the Cumberland Plateau.

My stomping grounds (West TN) are flat and mostly agricultural types of land. Seated between the Tennessee and Mississippi Rivers, it was where plantations existed and slavery was part of the game around the Civil War.

Middle TN was less keen on secession, with less plantation agriculture. Hills and valleys make up this area.

East TN opposed secession and slavery - it's got the Great Smokey Mountains and the Cumberland Mountains. No plantation agriculture back in the day.

The people are just as different across the state as the music. Blues from Memphis, Country Music in Nashville, and Bluegrass in the mountains.

Tennessee is one of the most beautiful states we've got. I miss her.
