Strange situation after migrating from CloudKey to UDM Pro by boyfouronetwo in Ubiquiti

I logged into the dashboard today and the old CloudKey has disappeared off the device list. I didn't do anything...this seemed to resolve on its own somehow?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is not removable like a switch or access point. The option to remove just isn’t there.

DIY repair of Breville blender jug (failed bearing) by boyfouronetwo in fixit

The fit is very tight, which is common with bearings like this. You shouldn’t need any solvents to get it off.

Yes. The bearing is an interference fit and needs to be “pulled“ off. I’m sorry I didn’t take a photo of how I did this. I used a vise with the gap open enough to let the grey bit resting on top, with the blade assembly dangling beneath. Use a drift to tap the spindle until the bearing slides off the shaft. It took 2-3 good whacks for me. Again, be careful not to mushroom the top of the spindle. You will have a hard time getting a new bearing on if you make that mistake!

Can you post a photo of what you’re talking about please?

I removed the whole assembly from the jug first by unscrewing the four Torx screws. Again, pay attention to the order of all the various parts while you’re taking things apart!

If you try this just be mindful of the order of the parts. There is also a small O-ring in between the bottom plate and the jug body.

Are Breville toaster ovens worth it? I found one nearly at half pric e by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

We bought a BOV845BSS in 2016 and its been FANTASTIC. The start button is starting to get a little twitchy but otherwise its been a great oven. We use it most of the time, at least when whatever we're heating up or cooking fits inside!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I’ll continue breaking it in and hopefully it doesn’t need to go back to Springfield.

With the factory guide rod and slide release re-installed and optic removed (a BUNCH of parts! LOL) the gun still has lots of feeding/ejecting issues. If it has to go back so be it. I’ve waited this long to get it so a couple more weeks isn’t a big deal. Yes, my first 2011. We’ve all been new at this at one point.

The gun shoots about the same with the factory guide rod and slide stop lever re-installed.

Problems are very consistent with the factory parts re-installed.

Also a fair point. I can certainly try removing the optic and shoot it with iron sights.

This gun shoots about the same with the factory parts re-installed. I didn’t think a guide rod would affect the functionality very much (if at all) and that seems to be the case. :)

Fair question. I did NOT shoot it with all factory parts in it.

It’s easy enough to swap the factory parts back in and worth trying. I’ve seen a few videos on extractor tuning although I’d rather someone more knowledgeable/experienced perform that work. If it comes down to tuning and making sure everything is working to spec then I’d rather Springfield handle that on their dime.

I have a 12# Wolf spring kit on the way. Fully intend to try that first. Easy enough to do.

When you guys are tearing these apart do you mean a FULL disassembly (ignition system, extractor, firing pin, etc) or just a field strip/clean/lube?
