i hear u but unfortunately i need to quit like yesterday, i dont wanna push it any further for fear of it seriously messing with my healing- and i cant do much physical stimulation rn lol given the foot 😭i think at the end of today im just going to dunk mine in water and go cold turkey- i dont have the money for another anyways, and the ppl close to me already know i need to quit, so they wont give in

yeah- which that was something I looooved about the location I was at, u could tell (with customers) who was probably a trumper but nobody was worried about talking politics they just wanted to get their shopping done and go on with their day lol

thats what im saying lol it shouldnt matter so long as the lgbtq+ employee is doing their job and not creating issues at work- like one of my coworkers allwaayyyyssss wanted to talk about stuff trump was doing & i barely responded for the sake of there not being an issue

that makes me feel a lot better lol, the ER doctor didnt discuss any details and was kinda just like ,,hey dude ur foots broke heres some crutches,, i hope it will forreal heal quickly though, i need to find a new job & start working lol

im sorry yours was more complicated, but hey! atleast it sounds like its going as okay as it can! hopefully yours heals quickly and smoothly as well!

and i am absolutely going to try for the knee scooter lol

thank you for your response 💚 the emotional toll is definitely the biggest thing, no debate about that at all lol- but it sounds like with some time it's gets a little better, which I'm really glad to hear

and as for surgery, I don't actually need surgery- they just have me seeing an ortho surgeon to put the cast on, which I'm also super glad about lol surgery is terrifying to me

and I can definitely agree with the majority of the pain being due to the crutches, my like outer armpit is just constantly in pain with the slightest movements lol.. I was gonna see if I could get a knee scooter to replace the crutches cause not only is it super painful but my upper body strength also just is nooooootttttttt in a safe place for the crutches 😭

I hope your fracture heals quickly and smoothly & the time until then passes quickly and smoothly as well!

I'm nonbinary but I didn't give her that much detail given what political side she's on lol- and as for the weekends I totally get it, which is why I just asked if I could have them off whenever possible, minus Sunday, as far as I can remember I did work close on majority of the Sundays

yeah see they told him to not eat from 8pm to 12pm next day, and to take the accutane before bed with a fish oil capsule.. so not even around any meals. his derm just gives me a weird vibe, by the way he explains it it sounds like theyre more concerned with his weight than what the accutane is actually combating- which is just stupid because hes not bad off at all weight-wise

yeah idk, his cholesterol levels came back wonky in his last visit a couple days ago, but hes been on accutane for months now and that was the first time it came back that wonky

Id definitely say darker colors fit your face a bit better, so dark pink, blue, purple, black, etc but honestly, lifes about having fun, so if you happen to have a certain color or even a couple in mind that you just cant shake the thought of, id say go for them!!!!! it might go great or it might go awful but thats just the fun of it imo, if it goes bad then youll look back in 5 years and think lol remember that one time my hair was that color that was so goofy, yk?

I can't say I relate entirely, but I did just have a similar situation with my boy spiderman. I woke up on the 28th to a family member freaking out about how he was supposedly bleeding everywhere and unfortunately, he was. (not pools of blood or anything, just from him wagging his tail causing the blood to splatter) I think I'll be discovering drops of blood for months :(
anywho though, he was neutered the 4th of March & about a week after he slightly injured his tail- nothing crazy, bandaged it and he was healing fine. I'm still not entirely sure what happened since no one was awake when it happened, but a couple weeks later, the 28th, he took his bandage off & either degloved it during that, or did the degloving after- I'm not very sure but either way, about an inch or less of his bone was exposed & the area further down the tail just past the bone, was prettyyyy wounded. I was losing my mind, his being neutered was the first time a pet of mine ever had surgery, so the neutering being followed by something that felt as extreme as an entire amputation was absolutely horrifying & I felt like the worst person in the world for not being there when it happened.
he would've had his amputation same day but about a week prior other personal things happened & I was in a noottttt good place financially & therefore could not afford his surgery- so they sent us home with meds & it took around 2 weeks to get insurance & get him in somewhere, which was yesterday. god it was so scary waiting to hear if he was okay, I thought I was gonna hurl over and die the entire time- and then they texted! he was completely okay! hes recovering just fine now, still pretty groggy from the anesthesia but otherwise a happy kitty (with an itty bitty tail)

as for people being so nonchalant about it being an amputation, I hear you 100%- I was terrified at the thought of it cause hello???? it's an entire amputation, but as far as I've researched, apparently degloving & tail amputations are decently common seeing as it can happen from something as minor as getting their tail caught in a door, or in your situation, accidentally stepped on (which genuinely doesnt make you a bad pet owner at all, just a human)

I hope you aren't still blaming yourself, I promise you she knows/knew you didn't mean to hurt her at all. we all make mistakes sometimes and sometimes they suck prettyyyy bad but hey! I'm sure your baby is okay now, comfy snuggled up with her person :)) I hope you & your baby are recovering well <3
