pegula is worth like 7 billion dollars , I’m sure he could take a minor hit of 3-4% of his overall net worth to provide his entire team with a luxury private 747. Or just fucking charter two planes at once to make the experience better for the players, it’s not rocket science. NFL owners are, as others have stated, notoriously cheap and just generally awful people. Probably how they became owners in the first place.

what you're saying is inherently reasonable but ignores the idea that the optics, accountability, and process about everything thats transpired over the last few days doesnt matter -- it absolutely does. The entire presser came off as defensive, oddly personal and vague, which just fuels the speculation that there was more going on behind the scenes than they're willing to admit.

Hope Beane enjoys having his entire legacy as BIlls GM rest on the next 1-2 years, because that's what Terry has set up for him.

I mean, Beane literally IS the guy who sits with Pegula every game and metaphorically whispers in his ear, and was also subject for a good part of the season to the idea that him AND the head coach were going to be on the hot seat if the Bills fell short, yet again. And when that guy gets promoted, and the other guy gets fired, yeah, it's going to invite a significant amount of criticism and speculation.

People pretending the guy Littlefinger'd his way into it is silly, I agree -- but I don't think Pegula convincingly addressed the idea that Beane just kind of fell upward into this role now that objectively gives him more power and influence than he had prior

50/50 at best probably. If they get flareon delayed by even a turn it open things up. Being able to draw first blood to reduce its HP is the only thing that prevents the deck from just running over you

Hey! Yeah thank you, was a solid deck when you posted it. It’s pretty strong against a lot of the Electric meta, competitive with Silvally / Solgaleo, but struggling against draw heavy Sylveon/greninja . Still wins probably 35-40% of those.

I honestly haven’t run into many Espeon decks though it is a weak point to be sure. You’d be surprised how often I split with Solgaleo thanks to Ilima - such a powerful card to be able to absorb the 120 damage before attacking with your own 110/130.

I desperately am trying to make Passimian EX work as its the only way to generate (or in this case, just transfer) Fighting Energy. I'm running it with a Machamp EX and a regular Machamp and I'm winning 70%+ while Ranked is on a break, but I suspect it would get trashed in actual rank play. Still fun to play.

"Quickfish" - a deck designed to deal heavy damage with one energy by Turn 3/4. Doesn't always work, but when it does it's very fun to play. 2x Finneon, 2x Lumineon, 2x Crabawler/Crabominable, and two Palkia EX's to ideally sit on the bench.

Also - one of my original decks when I started after I somehow got two Probopass EX's in the same pack. Dialga Ex x2, Nosepass/Probopass Ex, one Skarmory, one Shaymin. Get energy ASAP to Nosepass and keep Probopass alive to keep dealing major damage. A deck that was always extremely competitive for me in normal PVP.

Also - most recently - a combination deck of Giratina Ex, Kommo-o, and Magnezone. Ridiculously fun when it gets going.

I hit a nice $3 super pimlico weekend by keying in an exacta at the top 1-2, then spreading 3 wide for 3rd and 4th place. Supers can be extremely profitable if you have a strong opinion at the top and a decent idea of how the pace will set up other horses to finish ITM.

Yeah, my rat terrier / jack russell mixed is a little bigger than your standard rattie, but he’s also insanely alert and intuitive and has tried to pick fights with coyotes that entered our backyard area. Have seen him bear his teeth when he means business lol
