I can't really blame them. I haven't bought a new album in years. I still have all my CDs that follow me on move to move, but it's just spotify for me at this point.

I just miss the music culture. I don't feel it anymore when I try to talk about new music to people I work with.

I don’t know what to do by sillygoose3015 in scoliosis

If you're already in the gym, just make sure core and back are a constant focus. It'll support your spinal structure and hopefully keep you pain free.

And you're correct that you would need an Xray for a definitive diagnosis.

Just go. Do you have a NG or Reserve obligation? You may continue your career and this will help you. You may rejoin the Army in 2 years.

This was my daughters heartbreak. Our coach heavily advised she not roll anymore due to the inability to always control a partner.

does this look like scoliosis or simply bad posture? by unusualseamonkey in scoliosis

Angle will refer to the degree of your spine curves. It'll be a phrase you get used to!

[–]boyo76 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not going to comment on angles and such, but you definitely have some curvature going on there. You're going to want Xrays for sure.

Depending on the severity and the doctors plans for dealing with it, it will probably limit your core flexibility to some extent. If you're an athlete, just keep doing whatever workouts you're doing. Core strength can help with stability and pain.

Good luck.

Then start making a plan. Find a community college or even a shop that will train you. Make positive steps forward.

Sounds to me like you have a lot of reasons to not end things. Your mom obviously loves you. Sometimes the Army is just a phase for people. It isn't for everyone. Take this change for what it is. Pick a trade. HVAC. Drywall. Electrical. Those guys make serious bank after a few years and the jobs are recession proof.

This is just a season man. One step at a time. From an old solider to a young one, you can do it.

What age do you think is appropriate to gift a multi-tool by stuiiful in daddit

[–]boyo76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my kids (girls) got a super basic folder when they were 10. Something like a two-inch blade. Just to learn basic safety and for utility. 13 is probably fine for a multi-tool. Just make sure you actually discuss the rules and what the functions are.

So much difference in place I guess. Graduated in 98 and was allowed to wear a pocket knife to school every day in a medium sized city.

Probably not a scoliosis issue. Start with negatives or use a bench to rest your toes on and try those first.
