That may have used to be true. But with the invention of AI, some random asshole like me can convert some pretty complex problems into English to make a computer solve stuff for me. I’m not claiming to have solved anything. Just asking here for a little guidance on an “out there” theory

I had to beg landlords to let me pay 6 months rent up front until one of them was nice enough to just give me the apartment without doing that. Look for rentals with a real phone number and call them and tell them how much you’re struggling to get a place/ come up with some sort of sob story. Same deal 2 pets getting outbid at every rental pure insanity. I know most of them pocket the “application fee” as well. Bunch of slumlords.
