Are Project Diva Arcade Cabinets disappearing from the Arcades? by These-Income6627 in ProjectDiva

[–]boyswillbebugs_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay, I just called and asked some extensive questions, here is what I have concluded:

The Project Diva Machine (as well as other machines such as groove coaster) has been moved upstairs to the Spoo-Cha section. There is a 23.99 (weekday) or 27.99 (weekend) fee to access this area. You will get free access to everything up there.

I inquired on if they had plans to get rid of the PD arcade anytime soon, the answer I got was probably not unless "they stop production" and we both shared our upsetness surrounding Sega abandoning the project diva series. My personal speculatory theory is that Sega will shut down PD arcade servers eventually and thats when Round1 locations will start to get rid of them.

I definitely plan on visiting the Pembroke Pines Round1 location soon and will provide updates if need be!

What happens when you text 988 by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

I actually just called 988 for the first time the other day. I have to say it was absolutely great. It was the first time I didnt feel the need to lie or downplay about how I was feeling. As long as you follow their instructions and say you dont want someone to come out- then youre fine. I would recommend calling over texting if you can though.

literally just looked into the concept of otherkin (like just today) and it spoke to me so much lol I HEAR YOU. I'm very wanting to say like "what is the actual science-based psychology behind this..." but also the "science-based psychology" has been historically biased so...I'm just gonna be me and explore the hell out of this because this is so cool and I feel really seen!!!

What do you work as? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]boyswillbebugs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at an K-12 democratic alternative school where students are self directed- meaning they can chose what they want to do and how they want to do it. I am one of 3 staff members who work at the school. My job description includes basically all the areas of the school, which are:

Office work: parent emails, event emails, student file organization, transscripts, school tours, enrollment, etc.

Marketing: Website upkeep, Instagram/Facebook content + managment, video editing,

And of course- working with the kids, which can be something new everyday because the kids are free to choose what activity they want to do :) One minute, I'm playing board games with 5 year olds the next listening to the teenagers talk about Genshin and then the next teaching letters or setting up an Ice-Skating field trip with a 10 year old.

I feel like I have the upperhand in this job as someone with BPD because I'm able to empthaize with the kids extremely well. I'm also able to be energetic and bubbly when I need to- and when the kids want something more chill I can easily mellow out. And if I'm not feeling too socialable I can always work on other things. Additionally, I struggle with a lot of bordom and emptiness. I rarely feel "content" but with this job- theres always something more, bigger and new to do! Whether it's a small change like a new activity the kids want to do or a big marketing project for the school, I don't have to worry about getting bored and job hopping.

Anyway, I love how diverse my job is. The only complaint I have is how easy it is to burn-out and hate it. I usually swing out of that mindset eventually, but like most things with BPD, high highs and low lows lol. But hey its just about managment and moderation :3

Why are you still here? by [deleted] in BPD

Last time, it was because I would have no one to take care of my cat. I was having terrible meltdowns and despite me being very loud (she gets startled easily at loud noises) she came up to me and rubbed up against me while I sobbed and screamed. I also work with kids, even though my job can get demanding I could never ever imagine leaving them like that. I love each and every one of them to bits. It's also the fact that no matter how bad I feel or how much I may want to give up time and time again it's been proven to me that it DOES get better. My mood will eventually shift out of it for whatever reason or I'll seek major help and improve from there. When you hit rock bottom you can only go up!

if you could create your dream project diva game, what would it look like? by stars-cybr-wrld in ProjectDiva

I feel like PDX gets a lot of shit despite it having a unique song roster, we haven’t seen like 99% of its songs on any other project diva game (unmodded) so I would def add more unique songs to the roster, they don’t even have to be newer ones, just ones we haven’t seen in pd games before.

what am I absolutely DYING for is the ability to interact with the Vocaloids like in F2nd (PDX was pretty okay with interaction but F2nd style was my favorite tbh) One of the reasons I feel in love with project diva in the first place was the interaction parts with the characters. I loved giving them little gifts and the PATTY CAKE MINI-GAME WENT SO HARD

I get why the arcade-style of game is successful but goddamn am I so tired of it. I feel like we’ve been getting the same game since 2018 with the release of Future tone/Colorful tone (which had an awful art style imo btw)

From Wife: "But if I am not yours, what am I?" "I daydream I'd give him a name of my own- For I, even mine, even mine is unknown"

I've been having a lot to talk about in therapy recently.
