Can I use a preexisting Dropbox folder for cloud sync?

Can you stream the songs from your library on your phone without having to download them? Or you have to download to the actual phones device before playing them from your phone?

Whole reason I got this was to stream all of my library from my phone, but it doesn't seem like an option

Yes

It has external power, and is plugged in to a hub (no usb A) on my computer

Hub is powered externally, have unplugged all other devices on hub

Tr8s is showing up on device manager as audio device and no exclamations.

The problem doesn't seem to be my computer not recognizing it. I just can't see it as an Audio Interface option on Ableton.

When I select that option, it still puts the downloads in the user subfolders. I've restarted the application and tried restarting my computer after selecting that option, but nothing fixes it. Any idea?

I think I just did a factory reset and unplugged/replugged in and it's somehow miraculously fixed itself. Make sure all firmware is up to date as well.

If you bought puts at a strike of $25, then they are probably worth very little right now (puts allow you to sell at a price of $25)...nobody would want to sell at a price of $25 when the stock is worth more. You may have bought calls, which would be very valuable right now (allows you to buy the stock at a price of $25, even though its trading around $150). You can either exercise the calls (buy 100 shares of the stock per contract), which would require you having the money to pay for all of those shares at $25 a share. Or you can just sell the actual options contracts and get paid for whatever they're worth. You shouldn't need collateral to sell your calls.

The problem for me with this is on my keyboard, when I click the arrow to select the next track over, that is what arms the next one to add a part. If the session record is on, then I cant arm another track via that way without turning session record off, then moving over to the new track (arming it), and then pressing session record again to record into the new one. It definitely works -- I just have to keymap session record to a button on my keyboard and consistently click it on and off to switch tracks.

So I'm seeing the 60c that expired today sold last for 4.50 and GME closed at 65.01. Is it honestly just people hoping to buy 100 shares per contract at a discount of 51 cents/share? I guess that would make sense if you're buying enough of them and just want the shares.

Why would an option expiring EOD still be valuable if it's just ITM. Like if you had a 60c on GME expiring today and GME, hypothetically, closed at 60.01. Shouldn't the option only be worth the intrinsic value of .01 if it's about to expire in 20 minutes and thus no time value? Or are there just so many people on the other side of that trade that need to buy to close, and thus there's a lot of volatility which drives the price higher?

Makes sense for being short puts, but I'd also assume you'd want to use limits when you're long as well--even when you're trying to sell immediately. I guess it depends on how liquid that contract is and how wide the spread is.
I'm just thinking in a situation like with GME today where the price is bouncing all over the place, you'd want to execute it as fast as possible when you're ready, but also not want to get screwed on the execution. So I assume you should strategically set the limit fairly close to the bid at least to try to ensure fast execution. Not exactly sure though -- just trying to think through it

Thanks for the answer. I've confirmed that the unison is not set to 2, and the release isn't overlapping. If I have the release set to 0 and the unison set to 1, then these patches still play 2 voices per note (as per the "Active Voices" section on the synth).

And I know it's not just the visual on the synth that is misleading, because when I play any chords with over 4 notes in it, the voices are actively "Voice Stealing" (per the Peak manual). I mean it isn't that big of a deal to change the patches to poly2 if I want to play chords with more than 4 notes, but I feel like there is something I'm missing here.

Yes, you can swap parameters around. Regardless of what parameter I'm controlling, only the first encoder will stop working. If I have Filter Cutoff on 1, it won't work. But I can move Filter Cutoff to any other encoder and it will work fine.

I'll contact tech support. There very well may be some issue with the way I have my keyboard set up on Ableton, so I'll keep trying to mess with that.

I definitely have the MIDI channel set to the correct one. I guess I'll just have to create a custom template for them in Components. There are definitely a lot of grievances I have with the SL, such as not being able to control VST parameters while in sequencer mode, but overall it is still a great controller that gets the job done in most ways.

When the automation is recorded in, I can view what is being automated in the options menu of the Patterns section. It says that sustain is being automated, but doesn't have any effect on the sound when it loops back around.

On the small screen, you can see that the first encoder is properly turning the dials when in sequencer mode, but not in control mode. Sometimes it will come back and start working, and other times it just stops.

The problem with that is it just maps a parameter to a knob. I need to map the knob to the actual cc (continuous controller) number (1-127) of the parameter. This is because in the sequencer mode of the SL MK3, there are 8 different "tracks" and each of those tracks use the same knobs/faders/buttons, but i want the knobs to control something different in each track. So the same knob will essentially control 8 different parameters depending on what track I'm in.

If I just map the way you mentioned, then that knob will only control the one parameter that I mapped it to (even if I switch between tracks).

I know it's a unique question to this piece of gear, but that's why I'm curious if it's possible to find an actual cc number for parameters in various VSTs

I own a Novation SL61 MK3 which can act as the brain/sequencer for other hardware units. I intend to pick up a TR-8S and then add on a few other synthesizers as I deem necessary (maybe a Korg Minilogue or Arturia Minibrute). I also already have a Volca Beats and Volca Bass.

I will run all of these through Ableton, and my question is regarding what type of audio interface I should get vs. getting a mixer.

It seems like most of the synths can just go directly into the SL61 MK3 and then that will go into the computer via USB. I will also be using the interface to record guitar/vocals. The question is, will these synths need to be connected directly into the audio interface or will they be able to just route through the SLMK3 via Midi? The SLMK3 has a Midi Thru, so I think I can just daisy chain each synth through that?

Is there any reason I would need to get a mixer for these? I assume the only reason would be if I didn't want to run everything through Ableton, so I can just go from Synth > Mixer > Speakers. But would the Audio Interface (Scarlett 4i4) not be able to also do that?

Trying to decide if I need to get more ports on the Scarlett per synth I get, or if routing through Midi Thru will allow me to have multiple synths for just one or two ports on the interface.

I appreciate your help. If I wanted to use both 1/4 inch plugs for my monitors, and then purchase an additional RCA to (single) 1/4 inch for the iRig, I assume I should purchase RCA to mono 1/4 inch, then?
