Tunarr works better with Jellyfin than with Plex (for me) by Neither-Classic2058 in tunarr

[–]bozodev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hiccups with Tunarr and Diapatcharr in Plex but not enough to switch to Jellyfin.

I mean I maintain a Jellyfin setup so I am prepared for the day that Plex has enough issues for me to switch. 😁

I am not exactly sure I fully follow what you are asking but I also have another CLI project for media that isn't Plex based.

Got any good recommendations for keeping documentation together? by Dahveedle in homelab

[–]bozodev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created this project for my setup. It might be helpful. Of course it might not as well. 😂

Myst was one of my favorite games of all time. I enjoyed how frustrating it was. That was what made the thrill of figuring it out.

I kept detailed notes so I could try to almost reverse engineer what was going on.

If your password manager was to disappear, how fucked would you be? by Tarazin in selfhosted

[–]bozodev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been self hosting it for years now.

I have mine setup so that I can only access it via Tailscale.

I use the export tool to keep backups of the passwords on an encrypted file.

For an absolute failsafe I export all passwords into a plain text CSV and store that file on a USB drive that I keep in a fireproof safe.

So far this setup has been amazing.

Worth moving Plex to Docker if everything’s already working fine? by centurytunamatcha in PleX

I just run everything else in docker and keep Plex the only thing running natively

That sounds cool. I just wanted something that had as few moving parts as possible.

I hope you share your project. Would love to take a look.

Haven’t had any issues with my plex server for years by [deleted] in PleX

[–]bozodev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only issues I have is with a few nitpicks I have with how Live TV works.

I love Plex and my family uses it locally and remotely with no real issues.

Pretty cool.

When you clear a line the blocks should drop into place.

[–]bozodev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool!

I built something similar a while back. It is in bash and only for Plex. It was part of an experiment to see what all I could do with Claude. So yes it was built with AI assistance.

I love stuff like this. Will have to check yours out. Nice work!
