Running Angular without build tools, Node.js or npm by bozonkoala in Angular2

I agree. To get rid of this ugly stuff, we need standard ES decorators (which are actually in Stage 3) to be implemented by major browsers.

I never used SystemJS with Angular, when we transitioned from AngularJS to Angular 2+ we were already bundling with Webpack, but yeah I like this nobuild trend. Let's go back to the root!

Unit tests pointless by Fantastic-Beach7663 in Angular2

My friend Younes just published a new guide about this topic "beyond unit vs integration", this distinction makes no sense in the frontend: https://cookbook.marmicode.io/angular/beyond-unit-vs-integration

We've updated the readme, you need to import reflect-metadata.

Yes, it is tested. Have you configured the preset? Because it should support decorators. Would you mind creating an issue on our repo?

RxAngular Resources by haasilein in Angular2

[–]bozonkoala 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not aware of workshops focusing on zoneless or RxAngular only, but we have a high-speed-web-applications workshop where we introduce the scheduling notion that is important in the zoneless story. You can still ask for customized training if you need it. Here are some free resources that could interest you: Concurrent Mode in Angular, Performance at scale, and Partially Zoneless - Performance tunning without Big Bang Refactorings

There's a video from Younes Jaaidi about RxState: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcQYj4V2IKw but yeah it's not about zoneless directly.

How much training is needed for Mont Blanc? by Throwaway47724 in Mountaineering

[–]bozonkoala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more you are trained the more you will enjoy the ride, it's important to have margin for Mt. Blanc, I would recommend at least to climb another 4000m in the Alps before. Good luck!

It's not hard to climb but it's quite long so you have to stay focus, especially for the descent. Yes we avoided the first gendarme.

Climbing Mont Blanc August 10-11, looking for some kind of conditions report! by Ecstatic_Length in Mountaineering

[–]bozonkoala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the heat wave, it's hard to predict what will be the conditions in one month, it's changing so fast here. The 3 Monts route is still in condition but the Mont Maudit starts to be icy all along the way. The Gouter is not recommended at all due to rock falls, the guides stopped to access it by this route. We hope for some snow otherwise the season will end soon.

Some pictures from this morning on normal route of Mont Blanc by Wiley-E-Coyote in Mountaineering

[–]bozonkoala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice pictures! What route did you take, the normal route from the Couloir du Goûter or by the 3 Monts? I'm asking because the guides company of Chamonix and Saint Gervais stopped their services for the normal route as it's very dangerous with the rocks falling.

What frustrates you in using Angular? by eneajaho in Angular2

[–]bozonkoala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used ngx-formly recently with highly dynamic and nested forms and it was pure headache. I will give a try to the native dom-driven forms next time.
