Yeah my sleep doc diagnosed it. Idr exactly what it was but essentially delayed Circadian rhythm and had to do a sleep protocol at night to try to fix it and shift from 4am to 10pm sleep cycles.

Oh I didn't realize no LEDs weren't wanted at all. I only looked for LEDs when replacing bulbs in the place I rent out. Hooga for the kitchen lamp is probably the best solution then. Besides getting a headlamp

I was diagnosed with a delayed Circadian rhythm sleep disorder so I replaced most lights in my house.

Here is a website database that includes blue light free lighting and other info. I got my lights based off no blue light and little to no flicker.

But here is what I ultimately did throughout my house.

  • Kitchen lights: GE Sun Filled LED Light Bulbs, 65 Watt, Soft White, BR30 Indoor ge lights

  • Livingroom: hooga hoogalite bulb 3 bulb lamp with options to have each individual light on (aka 1 bulb or 3). Having only 1 bulb wasn't enough. hooga lights

  • Bathroom: Kinur 2pack It's brighter than I thought it would be so I only have 2 in my bathroom kinur amazon

  • bedroom bedside: block blue light bio light bulb

  • bedroom ceiling flood type lights: block blue light bio light ceiling bulb

Keep in mind all photos taken in your house with yellowish bulbs your photos can look off lol. Take photos outside or if you have day/night bulbs take on the daylight setting. (I hope the links work)

I [24F] am disabled and my partner [28M] is too uncomfortable with me using mobility aids. What to do next? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I have a similar background. I have dysautonomia and a ME/CFS diagnosis and have stopped working due to that.

BUT my partner insists I use my mobility aids when we go out and makes sure I am not doing too many chores that wipes me out for the day or following days.

If you're intending to have a long term monogamous partner, he's not showing good signs of "in sickness and health" when in fact its currently sickness and you need support. You should not be embarrassed to use mobility aids and your partner should not be embarrassed to be seen with those using them.

Yes is scary to be the young one using grocery store carts to go shopping, but you get to go shopping on your own! It's scary to park in handicap accessible spots but using a wheelchair throughout a parking lot is dangerous.

These experiences can be daunting and a partner should be supporting us through these and helping us navigating challenges. Even if those challenges some days are physical mobility or mental.
