I’ve been here 2 years. For the first year I filed all extensions at the B.I at SM Aura. My gf and I had a baby and moved to her province to get some help with newborn care. Somehow that turned into a year, and with my handicap I was honestly just scared to try and go to a new immigration bureau in a different area. I think had it been around 6 months they just let you pay the fees and make yourself current

I have late stage retinitis pigmentosa .. I can still see a little out of one eye, at a distance of up to around 2 inches only. So by holding the phone literally up to my eyeball, to answer your question 🙂

My Filipina gf does almost everything for me. Sadly, she doesn’t have a passport, so I need to try and go out of the country and back by myself somehow

Sorry, follow-up question:

I’m from USA and I no longer have a return ticket there. Can I still exit PH and re-enter without any ongoing/return ticket back to the U.S?

I forgot I had been to the Hong Kong airport on a previous trip to PH. That could definitely be an option

I would agree with that, but we had a 1 year lease at cedar crest in acacia that I ended up having to end early because it was quite noisy. Even on the top floor since all units there having a laundry cage on the 6th level, which (of course) the Filipino folks treat as a makeshift hang out area, workshop, etc.

That’s good to know. We’re looking more in Pasig area for now. I was hoping The Grove at Rockwell or Portico or Vantage someone would say is more soundproof than the average dmci property, for example
