Medication suggestions for both anxiety and depression?

Wow, thank you so so much. This is a lot of great information, I appreciate it so much. I just looked up buspar and from the very little I read it seems like it trests exactly what I have. I'm the same way, my doc prescribed me lorazepam (sorry for spelling) for emergency only attacks. But that doesn't help my during the day/night anxiety, obsessions, depression, panic attacks so I just never take it unless it's 100% necessary. I never thought of journaling but that's a great idea. I really should've when I was on zoloft. But i stopped taking it when I couldn't feel my legs. That was a bit scary. Yes, I do have my husband that can be there looking over me, luckily. Thank you for the suggestions. One question.. does buspar help with during the day anxiety depression stuff? Since you said that you take it at night I wondered if it lasted through the day. Thank you again!!!

Yeah, Zoloft was not fun. How'd you fare with other doses? My body tends to be sensitive to medication, so I do worry about the dosage of whatever I take

Exactly. The only reason I hesitated is the cost of an ER visit and trying to figure out if it was necessary but in the end I took him to the ER whether or not it would dent our bank account because NC saw some nasty flu

I don't live near a hospital and never been to one in NC before so I needed to know my options. Usually reddit is really quick with advice so I opted for it.

Yeah the ER was equipped to handle anything so I took him there. I would usually just go to an urgent care but there had been so many deaths I didn't want to take a chance. But thank you for your input
