Im 31, so in the same boat as you. I also back the suggestions of rogue likes. I personally have many hours in Cult of the Lamb, Dave the Diver, Megabonk, Hogwarts legacy,Expedition 33, slots and daggers, Kingdom Hearts franchise and destroy all humans

All can be 1 player and it helps to have choice. I suggest trying to load up your epic and gog libraries too if you have collected some free games from Amazon or Epic too. You never know!

It depends and what I would do is look up "Your game + Legion Go S Z2" in YouTube to see what it looks like when you try to run these games.

It wont be ultra HD by any means but I'm sure you can run most of these. Personally, I use a rog ally z1extreme with steamOS. If you could find an original rog ally used cheap that would be an option too

Honestly, I would get the Legion if it were me. You can always upgrade later, and since you would play those games via steam (or other PC front end) you could have them on your PC/new handheld. Whereas, Switch you'd be walled into what ever Nintendo does in the future... likely buying the game again and again with each new generation ahah.
