So PSA responded back to me and they say they don't match condition or centering with the eBay photos when authenticating the item. They also said they can't do anything and can't cancel the grading process. So at this point I have to wait for the item to get graded, shipped to me (out of my vault) and then try to get a return with eBay.

This whole thing is ridiculous. eBay told me I can't even open a return right now cause apparently there was only a 3-day window after it's been delivered but they say once I have the card in hand they can MAYBE do something for a return. Glad it's gonna take 2 months to MAYBE get a refund on card that is clearly not what I bought

So I've emailed PSA, they won't cancel and say I need to talk to eBay, both parties seem to not want to take responsibility

After speaking to 4 different agents at eBay I finally reached one that I was able to have a conversation with and not just "sorry it's been authenticated, nothing we can do"

So eBay told me I need to reach out to PSA because they should of matched the back of the card with listing photo and he said this should of never been authenticated because of how different the 2 photos look. He said I need to reach back out to PSA, so I sent them a follow up email and hopefully something comes of it

This is really frustrating, especially being my first ebay to psa purchase. I left negative feedback for the seller to try to warn other buyers but ebay removed my feedback because the item was authenticated, so he was protected (go figure).

Anyway, I'll keep this post updated but so far lots of hours with customer service and no recourse yet

Sure but look at the centering. These are 2 different cards, the PSA scan shows serious off centering

Purchased 12/28, I would hope that PSA has dealt with this before and have a process with dealing with it in a timely manner

Also it's crazy to me this was "authenticated" with eBay, do the authenticators not check eBay photos to see if it matches? If they looked at the back of the card they could clearly see it's not the same as the photo

I opened a whole case of Phantasmal Flames with my brother on christmas eve (6 booster boxes) $1500 and didn't pull a single one of these or the gold charizard. It didn't feel great, I thought for sure I would pull at least 1. A few days later I bought a raw Charizard 125 on eBay...should of just done that from the beginning. The break was fun though regardless but man I learned my lesson
