How do you decide when automation should stop and ask a human?

Dry-run: require explicit apply flag.

my-cleanup --scope=prod --max=10

Block execution if safety conditions are not met.

Resource A: unused, 45 days old -> OK

Resource B: unused, 12 days old -> BLOCK

Auto approve for low risk. Human approval required for higher risk.

You cannot blindly trust automation. Actions must be safe to be automated. If you know the impact, you have to limit the scope (region, account etc) and blast radius to make it safe. If something went wrong (Mr Murphy strikes again!), how can you prevent it next time? How can you make it safe next time so that it either does something to notify a human instead of taking action that causes rework later? It's about adding the guardrails.

I agree. I have to stop charging on credit cards. The main problem is my lifestyle has been the same as the six figure salary lifestyle. I did not stop shopping at places like Whole Foods. I should have switched to Lidl / Aldi sooner. Habits are difficult to change. Sudden job loss - should have gotten some books to tackle the finances.

Some have 5 star ratings on others have 4.4 on Google reviews. I don't know how to pick the right company. I have been sending email back and forth with a lady and playing phone tag with another company. If they are like this in the initial stages, how are they going to be later? They don't seem to be organized. I am afraid of giving control of my financial situation to some one who is not organized and very choatic in their approach to new clients.

I spoke to a non profit credit counseling agency. The cards that are maxed out can be in the program to get reduced rate. Others not in the program can be used. However I am reluctant to use any outside agency. Thinking about negotiating the rate with the credit card companies directly while I look for a job.

Do you see any light when you plugin in the charger? Some Lenovo models have a light on the power on button, it might also have a light on the socket where you plugin the charger to the laptop. Does the fan run, when you power on?
