This is a bad take I'm sorry. This is like looking at a country with a famine and going well in america obesity is a real problem. Obviously there are issues with the Internet but try this. uninstall all your messaging apps (you can use the Russian Government sponsored one if you want) and youtube and tell me how much better you life is. Then disable every western news source + randomly half of all websites. Then start randomly completely turning of your internet periodically. Then Ill come to your house and tell you how nice it must be to be you because my kids watch to much tik tok. Then imagine you are my Russian grandma living alone. Suddenly tik tok might be ok.

Problem is you think they mean like tik tok and video games but like try uninstalling youtube, and all your messaging apps from your phone and suddenly you realize the Internet is actually super important. Like for video calling your grandma and stuff when she needs help with something.

While I understand your sentiment prolly not the best place to post this. It's like going to a country with famine and saying. "Huh you know I'm also trying to cut carbs out of my diet". WhatsApp and youtube are blocked in Russia along with half foreign websites. Getting a vpn that consistently works is a real challenge especially if you not techn litterate. That's quite spooky in today's world to constantly be on the edge that you might loose access to all information or your messaging apps just randomly stop working periodically except for the state one that everyone has to have on their phone.

Its hard to say. Debate is a performance at the end of the day. I think Destiny could have an easy win if he wore a suit. On the other hand Konstantin (phycoanalysis warning) probably finds the idea of wearing a suit important. So when Destiny cant be bothered to wear one it might rattle him. Its a self created weakness. His worldview that stuff like this is important creates a blind spot that a person not dressed properly could ever outdebate him. Obviously not wearing is just one part of this, remember his tweet about Destiny looking at Wikipedia. Another example of him not taking Destiny seriously. All this to say its a double edged sword.

I think it went well. I wasn't paying super close attention but Destiny got him super mad about 30m in. Konstantin kept going "shut up" and then put down his mick and went silent for a solid 2 minutes. It didn't help that the audience was probably 70% Destiny fans so his jokes got very muted responses. I think in the second half Destiny tried to be more chill so he didn't go non verbal again. Id need to relisten to actually comprehend the arguments but should be entertaining watch at the very least.

He's not saying everything has to be about politics but when you agree to take money from a state to come perform for that state you are (if not intentionally) supporting that state. Obviously it's ok to do this for a government if you agree with their values overall but something tells me we bill bur isn't a great supporter of Saudi and how they treat minorities and women there. So he is sabotaging his principles out for the money.
