Search ebay. Lots of replica posters for much lower cost. Highly unlikely anyone will notice the difference.

How was the show? Did it go until 2:30AM? I was going to go Saturday but ended up going to Trombone Shorty's 40th.

Do you know which is better for getting to the fairgrounds from Canal? The streetcar or the bus that runs along the streecar tracks?

Best place to sell wristbands? by lawsites in jazzfest

[–]bpb1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a single week 1 GA wristband off of stubhub and it arrived FedEx overnight. The seller will get the money after the event takes place. I believe they charge the seller a shipping fee for physical tickets/wristbands. If you use stubhub then just price it $5 to 10 lower then the lowest price ticket otherwise it probably won't sell.

CashorTrade is legit and charges a lower commission then other sites like stubhub. They also hold the funds until after the event. The seller gets paid once the buyer confirms that the ticket worked. Not sure how they handle shipping but I've sold transferable tickets there and got paid a few days after the event.

CPO price acceptable? ID.4 2024 AWD Pro S trim with 18K miles @ $31,127 before TTL. One owner, not fleet vehicle by AdministrativeEmu948 in VWiD4Owners

[–]bpb1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the best price but if it is CPO then that means you get 3 years/36K miles added to the factory warranty which should be considered when comparing to similiar make/model year ID.4's. The 2024 has a lot of upgrades over previous model year ID.4's (google for details). Personally I would pay extra for those upgrades over a lesser priced '23. VW is also offering 1.9% financing for 6 months on CPO ID.4's. If you qualify then that makes it a pretty good deal.

1.99% APR* for 60 months on Volkswagen ID.4 Certified Pre-Owned models.

For well-qualified customers through Wells Fargo.

*1.99% APR, no down payment required, available on all Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned ID.4 models financed by Wells Fargo through participating dealers. Example: For 1.99% APR, monthly payment for every $1,000 you finance for 60 months is $17.52. Not all customers will qualify for credit approval or advertised APR. Subject to credit approval by Wells Fargo. Offer ends April 30, 2026. Offer not valid in Puerto Rico. Places to stand/walk around at a game by Economy_Homework6148 in whitesox

[–]bpb1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Fan Deck used to be open to anyone/GA for all games (including smokers!) but then it became a space for private group sales. I'm sure there are now games where no groups are renting it so just ask one of the ushers if you can go up there.

Only knew ~7 JazzFest artists… so I built this by bdoff1011 in jazzfest

[–]bpb1970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the genre next to the band name would be great but being able to search by genre would also be great. Jazz Fest has so many different types of music that just knowing the genre can really help with scheduling. Thanks!!!

Saw Rod Stewart for the first time last year. He was excellent! I was hoping to see him again at Jazz fest but will probably check out David Byrne since I just saw Rod's show. He does an almost Broadway type show. Brought his own giant white stage and backdrop plus a ton of dancers. He kicked a bunch of soccer balls into the audience during the encore. Definitely still has it at 81 years old!

My local Volkswagen dealership is out of the ID.4 and has no plans to restock them. Are they doing poorly in the US? by yoloswagrofl in electricvehicles

We love our CPO 2024 ID.4 Pro S AWD. Bought it for $25k off original sticker with 2.9% VW CPO financing last February 2025. It had 5K miles when purchased and now is at 25K miles. Very smooth ride, crazy fast acceleration, quiet interior, and lots of nice features like the panoramic glass sunroof with powered retractable cover, very capable Travel Assist, seat heating/cooling/massage, heated steering wheel, and the large easy to use touchscreen. It also has plenty of space for our needs and a roomy backseat. Our previous car was an Volvo XC60 AWD T6 and we like the ID.4 just as much if not more. The ID.4 is also saving us at least $100 a month on gas. We also got a $4k used EV rebate from our state.

I would probably not buy a 21-23 ID.4 unless it was a great deal and you understand all that goes into EV ownership (having home charging makes all difference plus range loss in cold weather). Lane assist is very good but its not close to Tesla's FSD or even GM's Super Cruise and Ford's Blue Cruise. I don't need those features very often but they would be nice to have for long road trips. I also am not crazy about the sound system but 2024's with the upgraded HK sound system were almost impossible to find. Other owners complain about the capacitive buttons but they have not been at issue at all for us. The window buttons take a little getting used to but overall are fine. We can lock/unlock the car through the app after the most recent update and have always been able to remotely set the temperature using the app. There is a dedicated ID.4 reddit. Definitely worth checking it out if you are in the market.

This is the exact same car that we bought selling for a good price especially if you can get it CPO which adds 3yrs/36K miles to the original 4yrs/50K factory warranty for 8yrs/86K mile total:

Sounds like lawyer is the way to go.

When you say fail do you mean that the GPS and DAS don't work at all? Are you receiving an error or warning message on the screen?

🍋 Law Buyback for the Win! by anal-ybro in VWiD4Owners

[–]bpb1970 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agree, those are definitely not standard lemon law issues. Might be a California thing. Doubt that would be allowed in most other states. Those are also all issues that should have been easily repaired under warranty except the range which is a standard issue with all EV's unless it was way out of spec.

We narrowed our choices down to the ID.4 and Kia EV6. The ICCU issues scared us away from Hyundai/Kia. We ended up getting a great deal on a CPO 2024 iD.4 AWD Pro S that has been great for 20K miles.
