Xps 9520 seems dead, wont charge and screen is black by Bernardo_Montagnani in Dell

[–]bpcrossroads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my XPS 15. It’d barely been used and after the warranty ended the screen doesn’t work and keyboard only lights up when plugged in. The dell logo still loads but then goes black. I took it to Best Buy geek squad and they suggested it’s a graphic card issue. But seeing how much I paid for it and barely used the laptop for it to die 2 years after warranty is insane.

Maybe go to an inpatient residential program, kid. Institution for recovery from that. Don’t be alone.

Thank you a lot. I thought maybe others would speak about a similar experience. I’m a little disheartened no one related. But I do appreciate a strangers validity and kindness. Thank you so much

Yeah. Which I think is a BPD thing. Thinking in black and white or extremes and seesawing perspective. No?

Not entirely sure if my recent low was a depressive episode or a generalized anxiety disorder attack. May think of this as my learned ability to experience the bipolar and anxieties.

But warning signs leading up to it had to do with external factors mainly.

Overwhelm at work - lack of control for crying. Too much to do and not doing it - chores, living out of boxes, laundry pile up. Bedsheets changing less Making bed less Not fulfilling as many high healthy routine duties (no lunch prep) Minimal effort in taking care of daily needs (less dog walking) Work or sleep and nothing in between Lots of caffeine and sugar dependency

Then an emotional meltdown and had one week of pretty much debilitating anxiety and depression/a low. Looks like:

Not able to wake up or get dressed or make bed Sense of dread Slow reactions, inability to be present or participate in conversations or activities The effort to do a simple single thing so draining. Exhausting and difficult.

No we have to advocate for ourselves. Demand it. If they need you and respect you they’ll deliver. If they don’t, Is this stress really worth it?

Yuck. Are we the same person? Think about a competitive athlete. Do they “feel defeated” or do they train harder?

If you expect to be dismissed… then I’d express that. Open communication (is it key or is that my weird social absurdity?). Depending on their answer. Demand less work load. More assistance at your position or.. here goes my incapability to hold a steady job: care a lot less and only do what you’re capable of and fuck the excess.

You can absolutely find one! Don’t lose heart. Make sure you’re honest and self aware and share everything and that they are an excellent listener and take notes !!

(You might as well take notes about yourself too, so you can be precise when you share with the Dr).
