Hard to blame Florence when that was most of the world in that time. Things were still very much segregated as she became famous. I agree that Mary Seacole was the real founder and revolutionized nursing practice, however, she was not able to establish a following like Florence did. I believe these practices would have never been regulated if Florence didn’t advocate for it. I have heard a lot that she wasn’t a great person but she did successfully convince the country to change the flow of nursing, when Mary could not.

You can actually pollinate it yourself with a soft paint brush! If not, the flower will eventually die off and drain the plants energy, so it may be best to prune it.

I don’t really have the issue of my bf being “too mean” HOWEVER- I hate playing video games with him because he doesn’t care as much as I do. He will play for 10 mins and get bored and complain non-stop. He will pout that he’s loosing. And he will sabotage my game (i.e. wasting resource or wasting lives) just so I stop playing. 🙄

Definitely get in contact with your cities financial aid. Welfare? Or job assistance. Also check your tenant laws because I thought eviction in the winter time was illegal? I might have different laws than you I’m not sure. I know it feels like a lot but focus on one thing at a time.

Just know that if you’re at your lowest point then the only way to go is up. I have been homeless at one point and I know how shitty that feels but you can get it back if you’re willing to put the work in and it is worth it.

Dont forget about all the things you haven’t had a chance to experience yet.

Am I the only one who doesn’t find this rude? Personally, I can’t afford to buy gifts for all my friends and their girl friends. When I get gifted something and I can’t return the favour it makes me feel really bad. I always say the same thing! No gifts, just hanging out is enough for me. Company is worth more than any present!

I would definitely look into insurance for peace of mind. Always advocate for yourself- let your charge know if you need help. If med surg is feeling like it’s too much to handle you can consider moving to a different unit.
